My local EB games is getting it on the 5th. I am going to call them many times late in the day on the 4th though.

I have high hopes for Monday ^_^!

My eb isnt getting it till wednesday the 6th, never again am I using in store pickup, I could have had it tuesday. But I guess I should be thankful Im even getting it next week, other countries not till november 20th. Not to mention I have the following monday off which means long weekend + monday deception

I just checked my order from Ebgames.com, it's been processed (I also just checked my credit card, 74.88 has been deducted... the price of the premium pack + shipping). So it will likely be here Tuesday or Wednesday. I don't think anyone will be getting it Monday.

I'll be pissed if I don't get it Monday, since I've already made a LOT of plans to play with a bunch of buddies WAAAAAAAY in advance, when it was made VERY CLEAR that it WOULD be out on the fourth.

have you ever had a job? it is extremely annoying to keep pestering the employees because you cannot show maturity and restraint. they will call when they get the game in.

Untrue, I had to call my store because they forgot to call me.

I pre-ordered my copy 2 days ago from my Local EB, and He told me its out on the 5th. Im not even gonna wait for the call, im gonna go to EB tuesday at Lunch. I'm gonna run to EB, pick it up, and run back to school. Not that far. :)

EB may have just lost themselves a loyal customer today. I do most of my shopping for video games of all sorts there, and after reading the posts on the unstable release date for a game I was told point blank would be out without a shadow of a doubt on the FOURTH, I called my store today, where I have a PS2 PP paid off already.
They said that "Unless an order comes down through our corporate office by then, the release date we have is the fifth."
Fuck them.

First off humulis, I'll say that that read many of your post. Most of them you think you are some kind of badass telling people this and that. Let me tell you something you need to back down. you think you know. Yeah I will call EBgames maybe 3 times on the 4th, doesn't make me no less than a person. Even if I did. Guess what that is their job to answer my questions. My local EB games don't call people once the game has come in. O what you didn't know that? Of course you didn't. It really sucks for you guys. I've been pre-ordering all my games through EBgame lately, and they've been getting them in late in the afternoon on the ship date. I just got Fable and I called them the day before the ship date and told them that I pre-ordered it and was wondering when they would be getting it in, they said they would have it by 7:00 pm on the ship date, they said to try around 5:00 becuase they might have it early. He crossed my name off the list since he was about to call all the people who pre-ordered it and let them know when they are getting it in. I turned around and called them back at 3:30pm on the ship date and they already had it in.
I believe they already have a shipment schedule/list that tells them when a paticular game's shipment is supposed to arrive in. I know this becuase I also tryed my local Gamespot for Guilty Gear X2 for Xbox and they had none in, I asked the guy if he knew when they would be getting in anymore and he said he didn't have any shipment on his list so he didn't know. Some store are told to wait for the official streat date though.
I plan to call my EBGames sometime sunday to see when they are scheduled to get it in, then I'll bother them again on Monday just to check before I run down there.

My local EB also dosen't call when a game comes in. I went to buy NASCAR 2005 about 2 weeks ago and when they rang me up they said..."You got Madden 2005 on pre-order. Would you like it now?" Well, I didn't buy it. My EB said that they would recieve both versions..(KE and PP) on October 4th. They also said that they should have it on the shelves at around 6pm. Since I work afternoons I gotta wait till the 5th to get my PP so it's no biggie to me to wait.

I've been going to the same EB for more than 10 years. Whenever I've preordered something, they always have called me. No problems with EB here.

Yeah, one day isn't much at all. Over here we don't really have a solid schedule for games,a nd they can come out weeks earlier/later (Ninja Gaiden came out about a week earlier than I expected here).

Both of the EB stores where I live are good too. They know about games you ask for and are cool to talk to. I bought DA 3 or 4 months ago ( to practice up for Deception) from them and they asked if I wanted to Pre-Order Deception, they are on the ball here.
