Just becuase there are not that many good characters being made, doesn't mean he's desperate.

Darius may not be one of the best characters, but Ed probably needed more characters to fit in with the whole Orderrealm, Hotaru, Dariou story.

Also, there's a lot of history behind Frost you may not know. Frost was originally supposed to be in MK2, but I forgot why she really never made it in although it would have been cool to see.

I highly doubt the man behind a very popular fighting game, that started back in 1992 and to this day is still going around, is running ideas. To me, it's he's got so many ideas but they're not fan-pleasing ideas.

If Boon ran out of ideas, Mortal Kombat would be finished. FATALITY? I think not.

i guess ur right about darieus and etc. but was frost realy meant to be in mk 2. and ur also right that their wont be any more mortal kombats but maybe they put dc in the upcoming game mortal kombat vs dc becouse they ran out of ideas???

Unfortunately, only certain characters are good enough.

I must admit... for every 5 new characters MK introduces, only 2 of them are worth a damn. Everyone runs out of ideas some times... look at the high expectations for crying out loud. It's hard to out-do MK1 and MK2. Every fan deep down wants more of the same, but they turn around and say they are sick of it... and when something new comes along they are so fixated on what they loved in the early 90s that they can't accept new ideas.

Well when the gore-soaked world of MK meets the heros of DC you know someone's out of ideas.

Wait a minute, first you were complaining that Ed is running out of character ideas, now you're blaming the entire game for being desperate? Do you even read any of the MK vs. DC threads in that fourm? Probably not, becuase if you did, you would have said "I bet there's more dc characters than MK." That's not true and you know it.

MK vs. DC will have the roaster around mid 20s, and of course it will be even out. They're not going to give one side one extra character just for laughs. No. But saying that this crossover game is desperate, makes no sense. This game isn't desperate, and what this thread is turning into is another ranting thread only on a different fourm.

Just because you're another disappointed fan that the next MK game is a crossover doesn't mean you should say he's being desperate. I bet you that this will probably be one of the best selling MK games since... whenever the other best MK game came out.

But seriously, changing the topic in talking about character ideas to the entire game in general makes no sense. What are you exactly ranting about? The characters, or the game?
