Ya you are right swords are getting old I agree with you totally and everyone has them but i guess they can't really think of any other weapons i'm trying to brainstorm weapons.

i see what you mean by brain stroming weapons, this is the way i find weapons,

i know that brainstrom weapon off of the top of your head is tough, so i google in something like "weapons", "martal arts weapons" or anything with weapons in it, and you will be surprized at how many cool weapons are out there.

I love the idea of the ball and chain, like gogo, some one should have 3 way staff or sommit like that some guy on the forums made a guy calle ipol or something and theres a picture

Maybe we could have a trident????? ya Gogos ball and chain was nice but Gogo was even better

Sindel & Hotaru haven't the same weapon, the Kwan Do is clearly big and different than the thin Nagitana of Hotaru.

Scorpion has a Ninja Sword (called Mugay Ryu)
Sub-Zero has a Two Hands Big Blade (called Kori Blade)
Kenshi has a Big Katana (not a sword)
Dairou has a a One Hand Normal Sword
Kabal has a Hookswords... the only seemed with a sword... is the name.

Anyway, good ideas.

I dont really mind all the swords....everyone's sword has a different look and style then everone elses.

The only 4 characters that have actual cloned weapons are Scorpion/Kenshi and Hotaru/Sindel

Otherwise everyone has their own unique twist on their sword(SubZero's Kori Blade)...so I dont really mind yet....

I just want MORE COMBOS AND ACROBATICS IN ALL WEAPON STYLES!!!!!!!!

Then...this game COULD reach perfection in every aspect of fighting

Someone posted a thread asking what Smoke's weapon could/should be. I suggested the Kusari-Gama. It would be perfect for him as it is small, fast, and can still be used for the Scorpion spear move

that is a sick weapon, its just a sickle with a chained weight attached to it, it would be good for smoke considering he is a ninja.

Not new to MK, but I'd like to see the shuriken return. They could easily be an 'impale' move, and maybe the enemy could somehow knock/pull them off, to stop the bleeding. I know Reiko had them but in Mythologies Scorpion was a 'master of the shuriken.'

Also, I'd like to see someone with a regular spear. Just a big ol' stick, with a large spear-head on the end. Does Hotaru have that?

Chainsaw. No Question about it. Bring Drahmin back, and stick him with a chainsaw. Let the pwnage commence.

No, Hotaru does not have that. Hotaru has the naginata, which is in my opinion the best weapon style and although it may look like Sindel's weapon, it is definitely a different style. Kind of like in Deadly Alliance when Raiden and Bo Rai Cho both had staff styles but they were completely different.

oh it could be just like army of darkness, when the character ash put the chainsaw on his arm.

some every day item would make good weapons,
- a baseball bat with a rusty nail in it
- graden tools, pitch fork, stick with the claw thing at the end
- a hook, the kind that the the kill in "know what you did last summer" had
-a glass bottle

the list of everyday item are endless, even though some ideas are stupid

There is a ball & chain stage weapon, you can see Ben using it against Hotaru in the weapons thread.

Smoke with a club are kidding? I'd be pissed if Smoke had a club. I think Smoke should have something original, i've heard trident a lot which would suit him well but i'd like to see something more ninja/stealth like. Can't think of anything at the moment so i'll say a trident.

in trilogy when he got up close to hit you did he whip out a club or an axe. i am sure isaw him with something

actually, a club would be fine as a weapon (for someone who is huge)

also, anybody in here also thinks that Sindel should have a whip or a reaper instead of a Kwan Do?
