Sorry if this was already posted. We have already
learned they were teacher and apprentice in
MK:DA,but will one decieve the other to be one of
the many deceptions.Could it possible maybe
Kenshi is obsessed with getting more power in his
sword to defeat Shang Tsung or has he already
defeated him and wants more power and Ermac would
be the ultimate power source.
Could it be Ermac is composed of souls of
obsessive king's souls. The souls want to take
over the world and Kenshi sword is the only thing
standing in his way.
Also could it be the only way to beat the DK is
to help each other push their telekenesis to
their limits.
What is your thoughts on it?Sorry if I blabbered
on.Your ideas?

Nice theories! I'd like to see them team up together and face some challenge.
Although, if they were fighting against each other, that woould be cool. I like your idea of Kenshi wanting more power. That adds to the fact that he is a complete rogue.
Ermacs body of ou;s wanting to take over is also a great idea!
As for their powers, Kenshis psychokinesis is probably more powerful than Ermacs telekinesis. Ermac would probably win though.

When did Kenshi get Psychokinesis? I'd think is Ermac that would have Psychokinesis.
I really like the idea of "Teacher & Apprentice". But the apprentice always betrays the master.

They shouldn't be a team. Ermac was created by Kahn, who we all know was evil, so Ermac basically is evil. Ermac is better as an evil charcter. Kenshi is good. He works with Sonya. Kenshi and Ermac would make great enimies, not teacher and apprentice, in my oppinion.

Kenshi should retain all the telekenisis moves, he's a far better character design then Ermac, and its a great story arc having him be blind but having telekenisis. I would expect to see Ermac with an entirely new set of moves.

First off, it seems that Deception's returning cast so far is about a series of "deadly alliances": Baraka and Mileena, Sub-Zero and Scorpion, and then there's Ermac and Kenshi. Just a little something I thought I'd noticed. (Perhaps we'll even see the Mavado/Kabal and Sindel/Shao Kahn "deadly alliance").
I think that Kenshi should take no sides--not good and not evil--like hewas in MK:DA. He'll still be neutral and just using his title in the Special Forces for his own hidden agendas. And I think Ermac should be neutral too with him taking no sides. But I would like them to team, but one is actually deceiving the other (staying with the whole "Deception" theme) and is just using the other for their own intentions.
As far as their special moves--it'll work just like with Frost and Sub-Zero: Kenshi will keep the Telekinetic Slam, Telekinetic Push, and Telekinetic Throw. Then Ermac would get something like an Invisible Fireball that works like a standard projectile only you couldn't see it; he'd have another move that works in similar effect to Rain's Tractor Ball move from MKTrilogy; then he could get a move that works in similar fashion to Moloch's move from MK:DA where he produces some wind that draws the warrior towards him and makes him hit against his body.

I'm walking a very fine line here, but psychokinesis is defined as movement of an object by the mind without physically touching it. Basically it's moving objects with some sort of mental strength.
Telekinesis is what creates movement of an object without physically touching it, but isn't necessarily the by-product of one's mind. It's hard to explain. Screw it, I'll just post the definitions of both.
Main Entry: psy·cho·ki·ne·sis Pronunciation: "sI-kO-k&-'nE-s&s, -kI- Function: noun Etymology: New Latin : movement of physical objects by the mind without use of physical means -- compare PRECOGNITION, TELEKINESIS - psy·cho·ki·net·ic /-'ne-tik/ adjective
Main Entry: tele·ki·ne·sis Pronunciation: "te-li-k&-'nE-s&s, -kI- Function: noun Etymology: New Latin : the production of motion in objects (as by a spiritualistic medium) without contact or other physical means - tele·ki·net·ic /-'ne-tik/ adjective - tele·ki·net·i·cal·ly /-ti-k(&-)lE/ adverb
As far as I can tell, the key difference in the definitions is the first implies mental powers, while the second implies a spiritualistic medium, which doesn't make much sense unless you know what spiritualism is.
Main Entry: spir·i·tu·al·ism Pronunciation: 'spir-i-ch&-w&-"li-z&m, -i-ch&-"li-, -ich-w&-"li- Function: noun 1 : the view that spirit is a prime element of reality 2 a : a belief that spirits of the dead communicate with the living usually through a medium b capitalized : a movement comprising religious organizations emphasizing spiritualism - spir·i·tu·al·ist /-list/ noun, often capitalized - spir·i·tu·al·is·tic /"spir-i-ch&-w&-'lis-tik, -i-ch&-'lis-, -ich-w&-'lis-/ adjective
Makes sense, seeing how Ermac is composed of deceased warriors...
Anyway, that's how I always interpeted/was told the difference between the two was.
