Ermac has Liu kang,Kung Lao and Raiden as allies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad he's not being controlled by anyone, but I did want him to be evil. MK needs more evil people and Ermac had potential to be a big baddie.

The only thing that could have come out of Ermac being evil, is a fight between him and kenshi, or kenshi going evil as well, imo

I like that it is good that he is out on his own and not under anyones control,but..I don't know what to think of him as a good character.I personally think he should have been neutral.

It fits his character much more! But its cool he is good. Neutral would had been best but oh well.
Ermac is the best of all the mk ninjas imo, he has story potential like none of the others, maybe except Sub-Zero.

I agree with him being the best of the ninjas.

He should have been proclamed nuetral.Then at the end turn sides and turn to the forces of good.I miss the evil in mk.Ermac was the evil ninja in my eyes(besides scorpion)but I guess I'll have to see what comes out of this.

Because some of those souls in his body could be evil. Ermac is made up of a thousand souls from outworld warriors. I doubt most of the souls were good if they came from outworld. I think he should have been neutral before good.
I think it would make more sense and make his story more inresting if he was deciding to be good or bad based on the overal feel of his souls.

I for one am glad that he became good becuase he would have a dull storyline if he were bad. I mean think of it, ashrah fights ermac because he is bad...whoever wins and then its the end. thats no fun and now since the good side has 2 telekinetics maybe there can be an fmv of them working together or maybe...against each other? (if either turns bad) I love how there are 2 telekinetics and its sure to either turn into a team or rivals. as temp said ermac doesnt have an evil look in his eyes he has one of fury in a good way. more like he has a goal that he will acheive no matter what happens. I also think that the good theme goes well with his whole arabian type look. some poeple are complaining that there are too many good guys but look at all of the armies the baddies have? they certainly need to have a major war in mk7s intro or something because all of these armies arent even fighting, just the kombatants...that doesnt even make sense. ermacs current story has many ways of ending, either through ashrah or a servant of the dragon king, or onaga himself, and finnaly success and the defeat or retreat of the dragon king. just to make it solid i like ermac being good! now that hes free he has control over all of those souls...my actual thoughts on him and ashrah is that she will end up purifying him when she hits him with the kriss and she will be freed from the netherealm. at least i hope it ends like that...only time can tell!

Still, I don't see why a lot of people are so shocked. I think it was quite evident that he was going to be good. It appears that people were under the impression that He could have been evil since some of the souls he was comprised of were most likely evil. Well, that doesn't really make sense to me.
Ermac is a fusion of souls, not a heterogenius mixture of souls. Sure, he's made up of numerous different beings, but he's still mono-fuctioning entity. thousands of souls = one mind and will. In order for him to eist, he has to function in unision. I doubt he would be able to be if he contained hundreds of different alignments within himself.

I would like him to be Evil or Neutral.
However there might be a deception behind him!

i think he should be either Unknown or Neutral...after all he isnt just one person, he is many spirits of conqured warriors, i think he'll be harder to predict than good or evil

I think he's better off this way. He can have a better story than just "Ooooh I'm Ermac. I'm always someone's bitch". You know? Now he has his own thing.

I agree...there might be a deception envolving him, it would be nice, but well, kenshi freed him, might be that souls of his ancestors are in Ermac, then propably he is good...oh what heck

You forget, when he screams you can hear multiple voices meaning he is not fully together. Also, real life people have split personalities or bi polar which can be very close also. I wouldn't say your theory holds up with what has been seen and what can happen in real life just because you think he wouldn't be able to pull it off. I mean it's MK after all, Ermac could do anything.

Yeh nuetral would have been the way for the red ninja. There was not much information on him in UMK3 so this made him more mysterious, now that his good his not as interesting.

Agreed.
Its like Cyrax....he was SO much better when evil. He latter became a SF agent which, IMO, did not suited him but gave him some story potential.
Ermac is like Sektor, they must never be good!
