I think when Ermac always refers to himself as we, I think it has something to do with the Mortal Kombat Annihalation movie. Which is the second one. In the final fight with Sonya, he produces a black ninja clone of himself. Apparently this clone lived inside him. Maybe that is who Ermac refers to when he says "we".

Ermac consists from hundreds of souls that Shao khan binded together possibly with the aid of Shang Tsung. He has only one created body in the games but the souls within him create an amalgam, and they refer to theirselves as "we".
I wonder: the greatest threat to Ermac could be Tsung since he can steal souls. That means if he devours Ermac, he could be overloaded with hundreds of souls, making him incredibly powerfull, period.
Ermac has a physical shell, but it can be destroyed. it has been formed by the souls themselves, or possibly by Khan/Tsung too.

I would think that Kahn is just as much of a threat to Ermac, if not moreso than Shang. Shang is supposedly dead anyway, but Kahn created him...he could probably easily take those souls back if he wanted to. Remember, Shang Tsung learned how to steal souls from Shao Kahn.

Ermac is a being composed of many souls bound into one. When he says "we" he means all the souls in him. Since he is like 15 people in one.
That is the reason.

Really puts things into perspective, when a teenager pop singer turns out to be the re-incarnation of a german warlord.

And there's evidence that it in MK Annihilation, it may have been just some random warrior, not necessarily Noob Saibot.
But either way, the "Ermac is really a collection of souls in one body" had been around since MK Trilogy, BEFORE MK Annihilation, so the whole MKA point is moot.

well every one here has already said it.... Ermac is made up of hundreds of souls of defeated warriors. im guessing since he has all these sould and that hes really powerful is y he easily could hold off the 5 Earthrealm warriors i his ending.
and ya Kahn and Tsung should be able to suck all those sould out of Ermac very easily. hell maybe when Kahn does come back some how he will have Ermac captured or some thing and absorb all those souls to gather up his strength rather quickly.

I believe Ermac is one of the most mysterious fighter
because it posseses many souls of great warriors and every souls has their own moves, strategy, etc.
the one thing that is combined is strenght and he hasn't showed his true strenght even now..................that's what I believe

ya i dont think Ermac has shown his true strength yet either. hell in an arm wrestling contest between Kahn and Ermac i thnk Ermac would win. ya i think Kahn did make Ermac stronger than him. ofcourse he could take those souls back if Ermac did try some thing u know.
any ways ya i dont think Ermac has shown his true strength yet either but like said already Tsung and Kahn should be able to take Ermac out easily.
i wonder.... can Ermac die? hes not even alive is he? say he like got blown up and destroyed all the souls maybe could just form back together. or maybe they wouldnt. dunno. but possibly only those with the logic of the black arts like Kahn and Tsugn could only get rid of Ermac. hmmmmmmm....

You know, Ermac was created by Khan, and he can possibli disas-semble him easily. A second thought: it is correct that Tsung learned from Khan, but the soul devouring ability, I dont think thats actually Khan origi-nated. I could be wrong since in MK3 he did stole all earthly souls.
If Ermac is an amalgam of souls, he has a goal. I wonder if he achieves it he may disband himself. remember, hes already dead in someway -or shall I say they are already dead- becouse hey were defeated. If his mission is complete all souls may ascend to heaven or something like that.
I dont think Khan created him stronher than himself, remember, his rule is constantly threatened by others, so it would make no sence, even with the fact that he controlled ermac in almost 100 percent.
