Well MK does have sidesteps, but if you're talking about cartwheels or a special move like Mavado's d,u+2 escape that covers more lateral ground, why not? It's - like any escape - would be handy for avoiding death traps.

well.. they do have a sc2 side step excape.. when you side step at the time your opponet throws an attack... and you can also do it on the ground as well... if your knocked down that is..
