One thing I don't get: Why does everyone refer to him as "evil"? I mean, yea, in Mythologies he was on a mission for Quan Chi, but in the end Raiden set him straight. Sub Jr. was in the Lin Kuei when it was evil too. I don't think older Sub was "evil," more like blindly loyal to his clan.

Your so right. He made bad choices. He was not a great guy, and by real life standards you can make the argument that he was evil. But when trying to differentiate the Subs Older Sub is not really more evil than his little bro. I mean he did save the world.

i personally think it isn't the scar guy. not cuz he doesnt have a scar but rather the way his stance and kick look. the sub in mkda seemed to fight kinda brutish in both stances. this new stance of his looks like it'll be more of finesse and he looks quicker too. :) but hey, dont listen to me, im wrong 97% of the time on everything.

I hope it is the original i never liked how his younger brother is good i hate this HATE IT!!!! but i think it is the Sub Zero from MKDA
