Alright.. We have the news.. And its NOT what we expected or hoped for. But now we have to deal with it until the NEXT MK game comes out.. Im a fan of MK and DC, but i NEVER thought I would live to see the day when these two mixed. So... Lets examine the DC universe and try to figure out how they will fit together..

PLEASE, dont use this post as another outlet for your dissapointment. Voice your outrage and frustration in the dozen other posts where people are already doing it. IM totally for letting people know how you feel, but it gets old constantly reading the same negative reactions over and over.. ANyways.. where to start..

Im gunna start off by listing as many DC characters as I can recall off the top of my head to give people an idea of what the Roster might look like:

(majority kinda have cheesy names haha i.e "something-man")

Thats definately not ALL the characters but those are the ones most people have ATLEAST heard of.

WHAT WILL THE GAME ROSTER LOOK LIKE?
Im guessing it will be half MK and half DC, using the most popular characters from both genres.

I have one BIG problem.. and thats Superman... IF he is in the game, i dont know how he could NOT be the boss. Nothing can beat him {unless Doomsday is in the game } I dont see how you could have Johnny Cage Vs Superman and it could possibly be a realistic or fair fight. Superman has EVERY power. Frost breath, laservision, flight, super strength -he could flick someones head off with his pinkie. Not to mention the fact that he is impervious to Heat and cold.

STAGES
This is just an example... but it would feel weird in one match fighting in the Living Forest, and then in the next match, fighting outside the Daily Planet in Metropolis. A Gotham City stage could be cool. I can see that being dark and gothic looking. What other DC posibilities are there for stages??

FEEL OF THE GAME
Boon said it would be a dark and gritty game.. I believe that despite the fact i never pictured DC as a dark universe. That being said.. I am willing to bet there will still be fatalities. In other posts people have said that the MK creators sold out trying to get a larger fan base. I think it is the OPPOSITE actually. I think Warner Brothers and DC are the ones who are tryin to expand THEIR fanbase.. and because of that, they would allow Midway to use their characters in a game that exploits violence.. so i think we can count on Fatalities being included in this game.

FOR THOSE OF YOU who are dissapointed that this isnt a TRUE MK game, what could BOON include to make you happy??

For me, I just hope there is an AMAZING version of Kreate-a-Character included. By making this a VS. game, the people who like MK but arent into DC are automatically alienated.. To make them happy they need something to connect them to their favorite MK's. I think a K-A-C is a good way to let fans make ALL of their favorite MK characters... not just the ones that made the roster of this game.

Im on the fence with how I completely feel about the game, but I am being optimistic. Afterall, everyone said Daniel Craig would make a horrible james bond and wouldnt fit as the character, and now everyone loves him!

What does every one else think we can expect from this new MK game? It pushes it in a completely new and unexpected direction. What would every one LIKE to see in it???
