That will be kewl; I'm hopin to see a surprising roster of more than 24 characters (some good ones too - like Kitana)!

I was going to make a topic about this, but I forgot so thanks for bringing it up again. Yes, it is obvious that we will finally see the select screen, as well as some Fatalities and so on. It should be interesting.

yes good point.. we will see some sort of a select screen.. and hopefully a hint at the number of fighters planned.. but itstill may not show the final version or layout of the select screen.. but im looking forward to it all the same as well as everything else e3 will shed any light on.

That is the coolest thing ever. At first, not going to E3 wasn't that big of a deal, but after seeing that official announcement i'd give anything to go. I didn't expect it to be the game Midway was headlining with, thats the coolest thing ever. God i'd give anything to be there, thanks for the update and pic!

I do think it will be cool to see the character select screen, however, I don't understand why some of you people can't understand that there will be more than 24 characters. In the exclusive Gamespot developer interview trailer, Ed Boon clearly stated that there will be many more characters than what are on the select screen, even the ones that will be blacked out. There are going to be more than 24 characters people, so stop making your lists of who made the cut, nobody knows the list and will not know for a long time. Expect 24 on the main screen and many more hidden. But, don't look at the screen and immediately rule characters out, because there will be more!
I love it too, its like "hey you stupid halo 2 nothing but FPS lovers call yourself GAMERS people" I don't see a stupid retarted lame Halo 2 banner, do you? SO sick of those people and that game. Get over it, it isn't THAT good.

I dont know about E3 I'm on the fence with it, i want to see everything so bad, new chars, select screen, but if i didnt look, it would make it that much better when i saw it when i have the game. I to can't wait to see the character select screen. I really hope to see the classic hidden character slots ( the MK dragon icon were the hidden character would be) in the select screen. Also to some clues about new and returing characters even if they are greyed out.

I will be at E3 taking CLOSE UP pictures of the select screen, so that there will be minimal confusion about who is in the blacked-out sections.

That was so much fun analyzing the shadow pics from the old MKDA E3 pics(although frustrating too).

I hope the select screen is revamped.Mabye in the middle is a grid with the characters and on the left is your character posing and doing little actions.For example...

Sub Zero-Create's an ice ball and lets it hover above his hand.

Baraka-Extends his blades and begins sharpening them.

Ermac-Glows green and then levatates himself for a while.

What do you wanna bet that this time they'll completely black out the unselectable characters, just to make us all go crazy?

Something I've wanted to see since day one has been some truly in-depth Konquest pics. We've been given shots of Earthrealm and Outworld already, and I want more. What I especially want, however, is a shot of the character actually meeting with one of the MK warriors (I know we've seen Bo Rai Cho, but he was to be expected), in the process of conversing and learning.

I'd like to see the unique poses after the match finishes make a return too.

I can't wait. It will be fun seeing who's who on the select screen. But remember the select screen can change. Remember the select screen at E3 for MK DA was different then the final select screen.

I am looking forward to seeing thiss too. You guys take lots of pics for me, as I am in the UK and not able to get there! boohoo.

Only one more sleep until E3!!! Erm, well since I live in Australia it might be two more sleeps before I get any info about it. I don’t really mind what info is released as long as there is plenty of it to analyze and drool over for a while.

I can't wait to see the select screen! The idea of having the characters do actions would be great! Maybe on vs mode you could see them taunting the other player!
