if you think that's weird, i've got one for you.

in the past few months i've had players just APPEAR on my friendslist out of nowhere. not requests mind you, it's like they somehow forced themselves onto my list without my approval. i usually remove them. this just happened TODAY actually, with someone named VERSATILE REIGN showed up "playing Mortal Kombat: Armageddon". i've never heard of this player much less played him, so how does he and others just show up on my list?

Well, I had a PM from a guy named 'mkalien101'. His message was: "hi how r u?" So I replied back with the exact message. Then he wrote back with "fine u?". Then I replied back with something like this... "Dude, if you have nothing real to say, please don't PM again". I haven't heard from him since.

Why the funk do people do shits like that? I just don't get it. I think it's pathetic!

@Trax, it sounds to me like your instance was just some degenerate having fun. It's annoying, I know. But I think it's different from what I'm talking about. I'm almost positive this Exploded Hitman guy is active on Xbox and reads the boards. He's just hiding his tag (which I'm sure most of us have played) and lurking around playing us anonymously. There are several GamerTags on XBL who obviously read the boards, they just don't post. I'm betting it's one of those guys.

That's the reason I made this thread. I wanted to know if he had contacted anybody else.

@Eazy. I haven't experienced that and I don't know what to make of it. I remember in Deception you were the first guy who would automatically join my game without challenging (Friend's List). I had no idea what the hell was going on until I asked you about it after MKA came out. I guess there's something like that going on with FR's. Who knows? Of course it could be something goofy like all this "Erasing Losses" stuff.

Chaos, I think these guys actually read everything here on MKO. They don't just spam inboxes randomly.

I guess the only way to make them keep interested is to keep smacking them up in the arena. If I can succeed at that, I definitely won't complain.

My best guess is that this person has a 360. Look for someone who is missing on your FR. He probably changed his gamertag. When you do, it changes on every list they are on.

EX. I change my gt to weirdass. DRSIceman would get removed and weirdass would be put in its place.

Exactly what DR said, eazy there's that option if you pay you can alter the name of your GT at will.

Bad thing about that is that some of my friends on my list did that and I have no idea who the hell they are lol

DR definitely deserves some Kudos for this. I totally forgot about that but it happens on my FL alot.
