Those aren't Boon's eyes. His eyebrows are thicker at the end and are far appart from each other. The picture on noob.com with the eyes has straight eyebrows and less thicker, and a different angle. Also the shape of the eyes are not the same, take a better look people.

And good mentioning about the slanted O, wonder what that's about.

damn,man if you really want to give us hint and clues give us something concrete.
i don't mean something explicit,but just something useul...a guy's eyes and a word GREA(maybe for GREAT?) aren't a clue or so...

Also, I found a new clue. It is Noob.com which is Boon backwards, so I think this is maybe something to do with Ed Boon, which makes me think maybe the eyes are something to do with a guy, because guys have eyes. Maybe Goro, because Goro was with Ed, as far as I know. Goro is also in Mortal Kombat so it all fits if you really think about it. Goro is half man and half dragon and the dragon is known to swallow the moon, but Goro is half moon and half earth, with a preference for Earth, so he slants his O toward Earth because his preference is for Earth even though he is part Moon. And the slanted O also means Outworld which is actually between Earth and the moon and it is slanted so we know the O is for Outworld so we look with our eyes and see the O through Goros eyes for the double meaning of the O in Noob which I think is maybe for Boon or maybe for Noob. You can unlock noob if you do uppercuts on the portal stage and press down and start when the man he says YOSHI i tihnk maybe and then you fight Noob. Noob is a secret character. Hes a black ninja and I think maybe that is the head of the lack ninja. ya, so maybe this is Noob's website. Maybe he has Smoke on his Myspace friends. I'm not sure if Noob has a myspce. I know Scorpion and Sub-Zero do, but I don't think either of them are friends with Noob. Noob uses a spear and stuff but I don't know if hes friends with Scorpion or if maybe hes just copying him and that means that Scorpion really doesn't like him instead. I don't think its Scorpion because he wears yellow and sometimes he has a skull with no eyes and that would mean that he has no eyes because he has no soul and you cant have eyes on your website without a soul.

Are you talking about the ridiculous theories, or the actual presence of eyes on the applet? I ask because if your monitor's dark, you're not going to be able to see the eyes, even though they are there.

Take a snapshot and brighten it up in an image editing program.
THEN BOW BEFORE THE TRUTH THAT THESE ARE THE EYES OF SHANG TSUNG, AND MK8 IS ABOUT HIM CONQUERING EARTH WITH THE SOULS OF THE SF WORLD WARRIORS!!!

Noob.com updated yet again. The 'eyes' are now below the coutdown. Above the coutdown is 'Answers' and a yellow 'pulse' type line connects the moon and the earth. Also maybe it's me, but it seems the moon looks a little more like the earth now. That is all I can see for now though.
