In one of the interviews, Boon says Hari Kari so I don't know what it is. Most people say it's Hara Kari but that's not what Boon said so i'm just going by his word.

Hara Kiri is the more "correct" term, along with seppuku. However, Midway will be using the ENGLISH version of the name, which is Hari Kari.

well we've seen hotaru's hari kiri abnd he snaps his own neck. i would assume sub zeros would involve ice, and scorpion might self-immolate himself. if one of the cyber ninjas is in it, self-destruct is an option, and baraka might do somethign with his blades, as for everyone else, who knows

I think you must modify your treath to correct the "Harry Kerry" to "Hara Kiri"

and my opinion:

I think that the hara kiri MUST be a stomach cut (in fact that is what is mean)...
i didn ́t like HOTARU ́s one, because if he is a SAMURAI his Hara Kiri MUST be a stomach cut.
Others Characters can have another hara kiri moves...like snapping her/his neck...because they ren ́t samurais and it ́s a different way to suicide..but if there ́s a SAMURAI the Hara Kiri MUST be an abdomen cut.

It is indeed hara-kiri, and Hari-kari is just one of the many English butcherings of the Japanese language (including the pronounciations "karaty" and "kary-oky" for karate and karaoke)
