Fatalities Vs Hara-Kiris

Now that the game is only 12 days from release, what do you think has caused a bigger stir, the fact that every characater has two fatalities or the hara-kiri finisher? Which are more anxious to do? Personally, I think the hara-kiris are a bigger focus then the fatalities. We've seen so many fatalities atleast half of them have been shown, so that's like 24 fatalites total. Yet we've only seen a handful of hara-kiris: Baraka, Nightwolf, Hotaru, Darrius, Havik, Ermac, Sindel, Jade. And although not actually seen, Sub-Zero's as well. So, once again, what are you most anxious to do? And if hara-kiris are succeesful, would you want to see them return in MK7 on the next gen consoles.

I think the Hari Kiri's are tight. But the fatalities look better.

I think Hara-Kiris will get a ReDiculous amount of attention from anti-violence groups and such.
Im a fan of them, and Im anticipating them more than Fatalities. Especially in the MKD Xbl tourney. Imagine the final battle, someone wins, and in the last fight, FINISH HIM: and he gets a hara-kiri in. ouch, thats some rain on the winners parade.

let me get this straight.. hara-kiris are done by the suicidal fighter, or the winner. and is it done during fatality time or regular time? ..
i'm looking forward to hara-kiris, and i bet they'll be in mk7.
if i'm loosing. i'll be doing the hara-kiris, that way i won't feel that bad if i get a fatality done on me.. tongue

Bleize, if you lose, when it says "Finish Him!", you try to rapidly input your Hara Kiri BEFORE your opponent manages to jam in the Fatality. It's a speed contest.
The one who's faster wins. Sort of, I guess.
I think Hara Kiris should be a permanant fixture in MK from here on. Bring on the controversy!

one thing im not 100% sure of..perhaps you can help...
you are playing against your mate, and he beats you, Finish Him/Her, comes on the screen. you get to perform a hara-kiki before he can do his fatality. He still wins the match right? that sort of makes sense,
but sindel has a kamakazi hara-kiri, and as far as i know that means that she does something that will kill both of you. right? if she does this, and both of you die, do you still win and continue playing?

Aye, he still wins the match. You just deprive him of the fatality.

Sindel does have a semi-kamakazi hara kiri. She goes up to fly and crash lands on her head, but does not take out the opponent with her. It's more of a kamakazi that hits no target.

can't wait to see Bo Rai Cho's. Hope he chokes on his own vomit. Or maybe he'll fart himself to death? BETTER YET. Maybe he'll apologize and cry for being in any MK game and leave the list of fighters, being replaced by someone who doesn't suck ass.
But seriously I think he's great. =p

hehehe, he'll probably gas himself to death, or set himself on fire or something involving methane gasses. i wish he wasnt in though. his whole character is in poor taste. he's fat and he p1sses, vomits and sh1ts all over the place. no ways dude, he sucks ass. in fact thats probably his hari kiri, he bends down and sucks his own ass, choking to death on his own sh1t. a fitting demise i think.

lol.. funny stuff/ yeah, when i saw him in MKDA i thought he was a comic character. but on the serious side.. did u guys know that Drunken Fist is a real fighting style.. its on the movie "Drunken Master" or something like that with jacki chan.// but anyway.. yeah.. i probably picture him drinking till he explodes, or taking his stick and shoving it up his ass through his mouth. lol

Hara Kiris look amazing.
I think “suicidalities” were one of the best fan ideas ever, and to actually see them in the game makes me very happy.
Finally a way to torture and kill myself without feeling the pain.
I love them.

i think doing a hara kiri on yourself is more humiliating than being killed by your enemy. i mean the guys is just stending there and u die.......
i think it'll be helarious when i pretened to be doing the fatality and my friend hurries up and kills his own player. lol.

I wasnt a fan of the Hara-Kiris to be hoenst when they first were revealed, but you see it in films etc that when fighters are facing their arch nemesis, they would rather kill themselves at the end than have their rival kill them, so they kinda make sense in a way. I think they're here for good. Another finishing move should be brought back for the next MK or another new one invented.

Question...what if both the fatality button combinations and hari kari button combos are hit at the exact same time? It would look funny seeing the winner do the fatality to nothing as the other guy kills himself, lol.
