Fatality window erased? Looks like there might be some more bitching.

After just browsing on the Gamepro article I noticed that Boon said, "The fatality window has been erased, so now it's a matter of who is the quickest to input the suicide or fatality command." Not sure if anyone else saw this or even really cares but I'm not so sure that I'm a fan of that idea if that means that you have an infinte amount of time to throw the button combos in. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding it and that's not what it meant, but if it is, part of the fun of offing you're opponent was racing to finish him before he dropped down. I don't want the dude just standing there dazed for 10 minutes while trying to finish him.

what he meant is that now both players can input a command after the finish him/her section, the winner tries to do the fatality and the loser tries to do the hara kiri, of course if no one can perform that action in a certain time(short) the loser falls, just like previous mks

So that your opponent can't do a fatality on you.

No dude. I understand the concept of the winner and the loser trying to beat each other out with button commands, but when I read that the "window has been erased" and now it is up to "whoever is the quickest to input the commands", to me that implies that there is no time limit anymore. Although I do hope you're right.

If there is absolutely no time limit that will suck. I hope Boon worded that wrong...as well as some other things.

YES i agree totally why should there be a Hari-Kiri don't you want to see a characters fatality?? What if they were about to do Sektors fatality and you didn't unlock him yet???? And killing yourself is worthless you should atleast die by the person who won the fight fare and square have some dignity...

Then you don't Hari Kari yourself, but if you have seen it, you can Hari Kari yourself. No one is making you perform the Hari Kari's. Think a little man.

Also I think he just meant that the Fatality stance is gone since both people will be putting in the commands. I believe there will still be a time limit.
hmm.. this could mean a lot of things.... it could mean that you can keep juggling them till they get to a sertant spot and then set them up for the death trap. It could mean you get infinitey time to think of a fatality... or hell, he could just be messing with you
