That's a good question, but I don't know the answer. I hope female characters can be made.

Well, you may be able to choose a Male or Female from the begging.. maybe monk is a character class, and as you progress you get ranks like scout, warrior, Ninja, etc..

I don't think that the MK team will leave out females in create a character mode :.\ since there are females in the game.

It wouldn't be the first time that game creators have overlooked a "minor" detail. I just hope they do give the option to create female characters, especially since this seems to be such a basic option.

I'm still wondering if you can find certain characters to teach you certain martial art sets. Like find Noob and he teaches you something, then find Jade and she teaches you something else. This way, your character will have the moves of several others making them unique.

Plus, I wanna know if you can create numerous characters or just one.

In a politically correct society, I doubt they'd leave women out of this feature.

But i've been proven wrong before. I personally don't think it's gonna be that great anyway, Though truly innovative for the series that they'll yet improve upon in future installments (look at wwf smackdown! 1).

guess u never had a gameshark pro. with that baby i edited every text in mk4 whether it was ed boon or sub-zero.

anyway, i'm sure u can pick a female..like someone said monk is most likely a rank. perhaps u can pick gender,race,species or whatever.

maybe u can even edit them to make them fat, skinny, tall, short..whatever

In addition to my question about creating female characters, how about non-human characters? Will we be able to create our own Vampires or Shokan?

The create a character mode could be the best feature of the game or the worst. I am hoping it is awsome but I have seen a lot more games that completely f%*k up thier create a character mode than really make it worthwile.

Yep, iv seen that also. I think itll be awesome if they make it really customisable. Im thinking though, itll jus be human characters itll allow u to create. I hope im wrong.

I would freakin' hope so. I wanna make me a special forces guy, and I doubt a little monk would suit them.

I hope you can pick race. I would like to make Goro, Kintaro or Sheeva.

But the problem is the extra pair of arms utilizing these fighting styles.

Yea that would be cool to make a Shokan. Maybe if ur a certain race, u would be limited in the fighting styles u could chose.

Imo, the online feature will be the worst for Moral Kombat.
In response to the question, I am sure you will be able to make a female, and you should be able to chose the race etc.

I think everyone should come down. I like this feature, but maybe IS NOT like you all think it will be. Maybe its just plain simple, nothing WOW! but nothing YUCK! Just maybe.

Yeah, I hope this is in as well. It bugs me when a game has a feature where you play as or create "yourself" yet doesn't have the most basic options like gender.
