Fighting in Konquest mode

I believe we've all seen various clips of the new konquest mode and i am personally excited about it, but im unclear on many things such as: will you battle ALL the characters you meet and if so, will the graphics improve in fighting in konquest mode from the poor graphics of just walking around in konquest mode

I dont know if you can battle all character but ones for sure you can battle Jax. The Fight will change to the normal arcade mode.

I keep coming back to mortal kombat, like an abused spouse to an alcoholic. Maybe one day the series will sober up...

Yea I think that anybody who you have to fight will be how they look in konqeust mode at the time you encounter them. Why would they enhance the graphics of the characters just cause your fighting them? It would take much more space up.
