We all know that MKA was the better game, but dont you think there was something missing? There was 2 fighting styles in Armageddon, but 3 styles in the past 2 games. Who thinks the game should've had the regular 3 fighting styles in it?

Having 3 fighting styles was great and all, but you only ever needed one of them.

I also wanted 3 fightings styles.
What I hate about the 2 fighting styles is that they don't have long combos in them and they have only 1 brancher combo.
If longer combos and more combos (especially branchers) would have been in MKA, then 2 styles would have been alright.
However, 3 fighting styles does give characters a better chance to have more effective and fun moves and intricate gameplay.
I miss some of the moves Jade had in Kuo Shou for instance, but Fan Zi is definitely the style for her.
Most likely MKA has only 2 styles because the makers got lazy and didn't want to give everyone 3, nor program new styles.
Some styles didn't even make it to MKA, like Karate (aka Shinto Ryu), Crab, and Baji Quan.

I was very disapointed that Reptile didn't have crab kung fu. Pao Chi?
But, I do like the 2 style system better. Although there are gaps, there is a lot less room for cheapness in MKA than in MKD. You would know this if you play online. - My statement doesn't include KAK. The shorter combos make the game more fair, and you have more oppertunities to regroup. And the addition of parrys was very nice!
So put me in for support of the 2 style system.

I support the 2 styles system. It's less complicated, and besides....Given the poor design of the fighting system, only a small fraction of moves in each style are useful and in some cases, there are 1 or 2 styles out of 3 that are useless. So what's the point of having 3 styles when only 1 or 2 of them are worth using?
