They can easily make him human again. That's like saying they can't bring back *insert here* because s/he is dead. This is a fantasy setting, therefore without limitations.

The storyline has said a lot of things which ended up being totally off, so really you guys shouldn't just say this stuff without thinking first.

I think it would be badass to see Smoke return in human form. I think he should strike a deal w/ Raiden. I mean Raiden did resurrect Cage, so why can't he change Smoke? Just with some twists there, Smoke would be turned back to a human to aid Raiden. Then he'll rejoin the Lin Kuei and I don't think he'll have much problems with that since his long time ally Sub-Zero is the grandmaster.

In my fanfic(Mortal Kombat Atrocities), that's EXACTLY what happened. Fujin even advanced his powers in the heavens so that he would have a better chance in battle.

Yah .... that robotic spear certainly makes him stronger then what...the regular spear that the human smoke uses? haha...It's the same move!! Your arguements don't make much sense. He had missiles in the movie... and do you know why he had missiles in the movie? The same reason Noob Saibot fell out of Ermac... cause the movie was garbage! You know I don't think Human Smoke should come back either... but the way your explaining yourself just isn't making any sense. The reason he isn't comming back in human form is because it said in MKT that his human form would exist only as a memory. That's why we most likely wont be seeing a human Smoke again.

Lets go furthermore in saying that even a more obvious answer would be: It'd be easy to shed armor plates and have him just uh.. yea.. dress up like human smoke? Does he have to be "human" to look like a plain ninja? He could have a sleeve cut in his overthrow(?) to allow his chest to emit the spear and bombs.

Thats what i been telling these fools, smokes human body is gone, all thats left is his soul in the robotic form of him.His soul is in the cyborg.Who knows, his head might be in that helmet.Or maybe they just kept his body there and just installed all of the robotic parts on top of his body.Nobobdy knows....
