I wouldn't mind seeing him come back. I love the ninjas and to see how his unique ninja costume turns out and how they implentment his moves into 3-D is reason enough for me.

The lighting and round house kick would be amazing I think in 3-D. The forceball would be kool too, but it needs to be fine tuned, so no more 100% combos can be done with that move alone.

I hope he is hidden in the game to unlock and play as, but will I get my hopes up? Nope, since he was created as only a joke and then put in MKT and UMK ports to keep fans happy because of the rumors of him being playable in UMK3 arcade.

I just thought the guy was a copy-cat of raiden when I first saw him, but now I have come to like Rain and would like to see how they make his costume turn out. Also, if Midway isn't going to put in raiden (A Rumor), then they should definetely put Rain in to replace him.

I thought he was badass in MKT loved his special moves. Reason i want him back is because all of the pallet swaps have been given their own look and skills. I'd like to see their take on Rain in a 3D fighting game. Also theirs a perfect place for him in the storyline what with Sindel back and Kitana missing. Rain come back. Same with Reptile.

Rain is just.......gangsta.





If alot of characters can get revamped, then i'm sure Rain can to. He has MASSIVE potential and if they really want to they can make him turn out to be a great character.

The reason that I want Rain back is because, quite simply, he kicked ass! His moves were some of the best in UMK3/MKT, and if used probably, you could easily get a Flawless Victory with them. Also, the other ninjas have had a revamp, so I think it's about time the same happened to Rain. But this time, make him a good guy.

NO! Don't bring Rain back, but bring Stryker back!

His moves were great, he was original, he had a storyline. What else is keeping Boon from bringing him back?

He had the best move. The mind contolling water orb was very creative, as was the Roundhouse Kick. Combine thos two with the lighting and an uppercut and you have the first infininty combo ever in a MK game.

Also his story had lots of potential, perhaps a hidden crush on Kitana or something, plus since he basiclly has the powers of Storm his special move possibilities are endless.

Rain was awesome I could beat anyone with him. His fatality was cool it could be a lot cooler now. Also I would love to see him Revamped maybe even a new look. His moves were cool Like the Water Control Orb. Also his lightning bolt was awesome it left room for a juggle. Face it Rains awesome and it would be great if he comes back.

I'm not a Rain fan really as I thought he and Noob Saibot were kinda overrated in MKT, but I would like to see him back as I think his story and moves have good potential, and I'd like to learn more about the Edenians, so far all of the Edenians have been women, and it would be an interestin change to have a male Edenian.

Rain comming back? Well I think that'd be great. I mean they already brought back Ermac, and I thought they'd never do that. And now that they have finally started making the ninjas' appearances more diverse...I also think he'd look great.

I want Rain back for the following reasons...

01: Inspired by my all time favorite artist Prince.

02: I love rain and thunderstorms.

03: Purple is my 2nd favorite color.

04: I love the name Rain.

05: I really enjoyed most of his moves. Never was a huge fan of the water stun. No reason why. I think throwing a form of hot boiling water in the face or steam to stun might be cool.

06 - Dumb I guess. But as a kid I made up my own super hero who could shoot water from his hands and control it. Kind of like Ice Man but with water.

07 - Special move wise I think Rain could have a lot of potential. In one of the Deception video's Nightwolf is using a thunder strike similar to Rain's. But I still think even if they didn't let them share the move I bet they can come up with some great stuff.

Guess that is it.

If for some weird reason they brought Rain back they should give him a fatality to where he makes it rain ACID. That would so rock..

I was good with Rain but I don't care about him anymore. It's not even a Midway doesn't brin back Rain. I'm good with alot more characters and at least they have a story.And does anyone know why Rain doesn't have a story in UMK3?

Yeah! An Acid Rain Fatality would kick ass! Especially if Reptile doesn't make it (well, not as Reptile, anyway). Someone needs an acid fatality, and Rain sounds like a good candidate.
