For Deception gameplay discussions, should there be a sub board?

I was going to post this on the General Discussion board but realized this would really impact the breaking down of Deception. If this is on the wrong board I apologize.

What I mean by this is that under the Deception board you can have two sections. One would be for the common stuff you see flooding this board (fifty threads asking for the intro, for example) and the other could have stickied character specific gameplay topics.

Each character would have their own topic so each character could be easily broken down without having to search far and wide for a small tidbit of information you're looking for.

Would anybody like to see this? And for the mods, could this be possible? This would benefit the site a lot and make cleaning up Deception a lot easier.

*EDIT* The Gameplay board could be broken down like this for example.

1. Tier List

2. Krypt/Secrets Location

3. Bugs/Gliches

4. Level layouts

5. Level specific weapon strats

6 and on. Individual character discussion

Yeah, the main reason why I want this to be done is because all of the gameplay discussion topics always get washed completely out of site by topics such as "where iz dat intr0 d00d!!!one!1!!" or "what if Lie Mai si teh clone of Mileena or Kitana is Lie Mie?!"

It's a pain in the ass to finally find the topics which are genuinely useful. I figure other boards can do it so why not MKO? Especially considering all the time a lot of the members like tgrant, Vers, Saty, TTT put into the topics.

It just makes sense to do this.

Something should be done.. I find myself not comming to this forum as much as I use to. Simply because it is flooded with useless topics, most of which have been answered/asked a hundred times.

On paper it sounds like a good idea, but you would still get people going there and asking if Kitana's nipple's were pierced or not.

You can't stop that, but you can divide everything so you don't have to check back every 5 minutes that the topics haven't run away on you.

Yah, I sent my email of concern for chara specific topics and strat sections. Along with an explanation as to why they're needed, lol. The simple fact is that if such discussion were there it could help peeps become more involved, positively, in the community. The game would last longer, become more organized, play would become much more developed, etc. We'll see what happens.

i know a website where each character has his own forum but i don't want to say it here coz i will get baned or this threat gets closed

Exactly. Hopefully your email will influence someone.

Also, the gameplay could be broken down in phases. The first phase could come when the guide book comes out, which will no doubt offer the entire movelists for the characters (though I bet some characters won't be covered). This could give a barebones look at what is possible in Deception.

The second phase could be when the game first comes out. Where we could first start to bang out a tier list as well getting the first strats.

Saty is right, this would make the game last a lot longer and help out the MKO community so much.

why we need a sub board? well I had to get back to the 2 page of the forums to find this thread. And 98% percent of the thread in front of it are the like of, "Noob/Smoke is cool" "Noob/smoke is alful" or "Noob/Smoke: boxers or briefs"

SO yeah....we definately need a sub board
