actually it ships the 9th, meaning available the 10th. most gamestops get there delieverys tues and thurs. mkd was the same way last yr, it shipped monday and was available tues.

I am so confused. Midway said 1 week after PS2, eb games says different. Who REALLY knows!? What's the real date!? Quit playing with my emotions!!! EDIT: Ok, I just called and spoke with ebgames.com, they double checked the release date and told me it was for Oct. 16th.

EDIT: I just called 2 other EB Games near me. They said MKA will arrive for XBOX on OCT 17th and for the PS2 OCT 10th.

Just called my best buy in CA (Just on the off chance they got it for Xbox) and the guy said he got a memo that all version are being pushed back until the 17th now. He said he's not 100% and to call him back in 3 hours. Could be BS. Guess we'll see if any PS2 guys post that they actually have it in hand and they're a reliable source. I'll call him in 3 hours and updated this with what he says. Any confirmations out there?

EDIT... Just called back, they did get PS2. Obviously others have it also. Next week will be our week.

He's saying that Nightwolf's 2,3 still leads to a free throw. But, if you try to do the walk-under, your opponent will land and because of the new wake-up game, he can roll away from you and no 50/50. It's sounding like there is virtually no 50/50 in this game because of no plants, wake-up, etc.

i wont give my final imprssion, but with only 2 stance, the ofense is very limited. U HAVE TO USE AIR KOMBAT

EB Games, Game Stop, Wal-Mart. All three have posted on their web sites that MK:A will be released for the Xbox on 10/12/06, Thursday. I live in Lubbock and I called all three and I was told by each one that MK:A will "definitely" be released on Thursday.
One or two web sites still have 10/9/06 or 10/17/06 as the release date. I could see if they maybe haven't updated their info, but this is the first time I've heard anything about October 12. Doesn't seem like 3 separate stores would just pull that date out of their asses, does it?
Anybody know if these might be store-specific release dates?

C'mon Saleen, we know you've played enough to know if it's as good as MKD or not. I'm sure I can go to the PS2 forums and ask right now and get a bunch of answers. I'm only asking you because you're here and I even though I hate you so, I do know you know your MK. Heheheh...
