Friendships-- Im hearing conflicting info...

I thought I remember an article on this site that was talking about MK Deception in a certain magazine, and in that mag Ed Boon supposedly hinted that "we may not have seen the last of friendships"...

But I've also heard that magazine DIDNT say that after all...

Can anyone confirm either way?
