Midway can mislead people all they want and not deliver. If you were around here last time you remember how crazy everone got with hunches for MK:DA. Suddenly taking out stage fatalities and reducing everyone to 1 fatal for the first time since MK1 but putting concept scetches of stage fatalites was a dirtly trick. I'm not sure they even understood why people were pissed and refused to blelive there wasn't more to the game.

MKII had a counter for "Kano Transformations", in the arcade options, and you can't morph into Kano, so that's how reliable the MK team's supposed hints are.
