in MK: Mythologies Sub-Zero fought the God of Wind, Fujin, and the Gods of Earth, Water, and Fire. We didn't learn their names.

However, in MK4, the story says a lot of gods died in the battle with Shinnok. Perhaps Ashrah is a replacement of one of the fallen gods?
