I think it's really ridiculous to make such a devastating judgement even before the first details of the game come up.

However, the "Batman where's my paycheck" part was funny

Wow, this was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.

"Why don't you go and try to make some new characters?"
- Been there, done that. MKDA/MKD introduced a lot of new characters, like 'em or not.

"Why don't they try and go back to MKII?"
- Been there, done that. MKSM.

"OMG, they're going to hire DC writers, that means he needs to be bailed out!"
- This is such a stupid argument I don't even know how to respond. Typically, when stuff gets written, it should be written by the writers. Common sense, you know?

He criticizes every detail of what Ed Boon is saying; yet this is a ten minute video where the author fails to make one coherent point the entire time. I'm surprised the video is even as well as received as it is.

I gotta be honest, I got to about the first time the guy started talking, listened to his annoying voice for about three minutes, said "what a whiny douchebag" out loud and closed the window.

The video is amusing.. and thats it... My initial anger was alot like his when i FIRST heard about the game.. Ive accepted it now tho..

HOWEVER.. there is ONE thing he said that I agree with.. And that is that this is a DC game.. its not a mortal kombat game.. You cant take away everything that is signature about Mortal Kombat, other than the characters, and classify it as a mortal kombat game.. They took away Fatalities, most of the mortal kombat roster, and stage fatalities BECAUSE of DC.. that makes it more DC than MK. If DC would have allowed their characters to be put into the mortal kombat world and we didnt have to make special accomodations for them, then it would be a Mortal Kombat game.

Thats how a feel NOW, things may change when we learn and see more of the game however.

My other comment was a waste, here’s why I put that.

The thread may be called "funny commentary", but this guy is trying to have a point as butchered as it is.

When getting your message across (to the public and not to friends), cursing is meant to be used as a flair, to automatically attract attention. But when it’s used in excess, it becomes annoying. (ie. every third word)

Anybody getting mad over a game should get checked out. If it were MK vs something I don’t like, I would leave it. If enough people agree, the sales will show.

So MK threw a curveball, these continuous rants are getting tiresome, especially when there’s a sticky all of this should go into. I'm at least waiting it out until I see more than the 1% of the game they showed. If there's no redeeming quality, count me out as well on this one.

Grown men don't act like crybabies and make overdramatic video blogs on youtube when a video game isn't what they want it to be.
