Although I wouldn't mind having a clone of Jade as Khameleon or something like that as long as the new characters are not ALL clones

I think it will be someone thing else since it is replacing a main feature of the game. I mean online play and a couple more characters is bullshit. I would rather have online play. Anyways they said they will be adding "2 NEW FEATURES" so I assume the two combined are equal to online play. Which means no new characters most likely. But I could be wrong... it just doesn't make sense.

I don't know for a FACT, but I absolutly believe the special features aren't extra characters. Maybe another mini game and MK1?

In that case I would buy both versions.

I doubt very very much it will be extra/new characters. the main reason i think this is cause they are still finishing off Deception, probably including the characters.
The game cube version is coming out only a few months after the x-box and ps2 versions, so they arent going to have time to make new charcters/stories/fighting stances/ftalities etc etc as they will spend all their time putting it onto gamecube software, so nothing as major as characters will be added. Plus all hell will break loose from the ps2/x-box users if they do.

Hope it's cool additional characters, I head on E-bay that it's coming out Feb 1st, hope it's Jan. 15th though.
