If they so called have torrents of secret characters, they had better make them good, but very hard to find..like an easter egg hunt or something. For instance, going into the Quest and pestering someone by talking to them over and over until they get angry and fight you. If you beat them you unlock them in the game.
By the way there are more than just two secret characters in MK:DA.
I saw a simular article in XBN about the number of secret characters(the didnt give a specific name) and the overwhelming number of things crammed into the game.

you know we keep on getting more and more characters konfirmed and we know every character ever in the MK universe will be in konquest mode I would not be surprised if most of them are unlockable to play with in arcade. You know this the 6th installment this could very well be another trilogy type game which I would not object to at all. but they could be leaking out false info so we don't know what or who is hidden, but don't be surprised if just about everyone is unlockable.
