Boon said there are no cinematic fatalities and it is up to the player to create the complete fatality from a list of mini fatality moves. There better be a shitload of these mini moves; I'll get sick of ripping arms off and pulling organs out before I pop the head.

yeah but most character was supposed to have character specific mini moves but apparently thats a no go.
i mean sub-zero and scorpion can cut off your head but still is a little dissapointing.
though i don't think it'll hurt the game to much.
