well personally i dont smoke weed. i used it before in the past.

i have known lots of folks and been great friends w/ folks that smoke weed weekly, daily, Hourly (for real). at one of my jobs the joke for the folks that wanted to smoke weed was "im going to take the trash out".

the bad side that i noticed w/ folks who smoke it alot is they tend to get stuck in a rut. like they dont progress in life, no energy to do more, no drive to be better in life.

so to answer your question, YES i do think it should be legal to smoke pot. seriously drinking is legal why not pot?? think of the tax the Govt could put on it, we'd be a rich country again

Like Dan I know a lot of people that smoke weed weekly and daily and I'm only 15 fuckin years old. I've never used it but I'm not gonna lie I'm so fuckin curious what its like to be high.
A good friend of mine told me about how he went bowling while being high, and right then and there I was like "Hmmm that sounds fun as hell."
But to answer the question, honestly Ithink it should be legal.
1. because I know like more then half the people who smoke it gets away with it
2. like Dan said this country would make ALOT of money.

Another bad side effect is the horrible cotten mouth. YUCK, i hated waking up in the am w/ the way my mouth felt.

"Weed;fun drug to use;terrible if you get caught." That's an old saying that I beought myself to belive quite awhile ago,but I've long quit since.I've never been caught,nor would I like to,but it can be addicting if used too much,but it never hurts to try.

I'm a person with values,but the reason I smoked was to make sure that I'd never do the deed again.It's fun while it lasts,but it gest pretty old. I realized that it was idiotic,but it does seems to cure some stress.

I'm 14,and the stuff isn't all that hard to come by in my neighborhood,but I know lots of people that have gotten real messsed up,so if you ever try it out;you can never be too careful.

I agree with what Dan said about pot making you less energetic; but that doesn't mean everybody who smokes it is doomed to move forward in life. That depends on the person who smokes it. Let's not forget that the magic word is moderation.

It's true that too much of anything can hurt you. Did you know if you drank over a 100 glasses of tap water can kill you? I might be wrong on the figure there; but I digress.

Even if it was legal; the govt really wouldn't make money off of it. It is too easily grown. It's a weed. Why buy it at the store; when all you can do is set up a cultivating room in your house? I know people who have done this.

PRIME 3 DAN - took me about a week to finish. played it nonstop, best part is.. that was about 4 weeks ago. so ive forgotten most of it. now ima run thru it on this new mode they have called HYPERMODE which is like hard mode times 3, but woooow, anyone who agrees that mp1 and 2 were too easy, (besides the insanely huge levels and backtracking) this shit is what ive been waiting for!!! gonna start on it on monday or tuesday. get that shit. make sure you have a nice sized tv because it could make all the difference. ive played on the same tv since i was born. ( crazy huh?) and let me tell you, it just doesnt cut it. you have to move the wii remote so incredibly slight to keep it on screen. not neccesarily the left to right. but the up to down seemed rather sensitive. and is probably my only complaint about the game. but could be easily solved on a 50 inch. telling you. the only way to play prime 3 is on the biggest tv you could find, itll make it ten time more amazing then how i already feel about it. get that shit.

offer is still on the table for prime 2. collecting dust.

chrono trigger/cross = ripoff of secret of mana. however... both games are excellent. but nothing is better then secret of mana... not even zelda.

as for weed, ive been smoking it since i was 10. im 24 now. past 2 years ive hardly smoked. maybe a few times during the year. but smoking it less has definitly changed my attitude towards it.

first off - it is addictive, even if you smoke the most tiny bit of it, you will still crave that tiny bit. why? because it feels good, and you want to feel good like that all the time.

the best way to go about smoking weed is to do what ive done the past few years.

1) smoke it with only a select person or persons so you dont end up getting robbed locked up and god knows whatever else.
2) dont make a habit of it. if you smoke for one month. go the next few months without it. itll make it more worth while, and save you a ton of cash.
3) basically the same as 2. but learn to feel good without it. and not to need it. the one downside to smoking rarely is once you get on it, its hard to stay off it again. but you gotta learn to. or else youll end up nowhere or worse

should weed be legal? no. it is bad, dont do it. if youre like me and already do it, just hope theres people like me out there who do it who will tell you DONT DO IT. DONT GET INTO IT. it is something to be kept personal and not out in the open. so even at that if you do all those things. it should already be legal, lol.

i think it should be legal but you shouldnt be driving while high or anything else that could get you in trouble now thats just dumb. it should be like a controlled substance, allowed in your home and certain places, but not at places such as school or work where it could demotivate or cloud judgement. i think music artists and painters and web designers should be allowed to use it on the job. people say its a demotivator but its actually a motivator for me....probably because im pretty demotivated when im sober to begin with. it allows me to "reprogram" myself, hard to explain. and yea like check said lay low about it, and be careful who you trust secrets too, especially family members. also if you wanna quit taper off of it slightly instead of quitting it abruptly so you don't risk the chance of getting a black-out when doing something serious

I think it should be legal but only to an extent. Like Alcohol. The government wouldn't make any money off of it because it's easy to grow, like Gexx said. BUT think of how much money the government would SAVE by making it legal. The government spends at least 500 million (or is it billion) a year fighting the marijuana drug war.

the only thing is the ecomony shouldnt have to depend on making it legal it should already be stable enough without it. but of course i see your point. in my opinion alcohol is worse then weed. but theres some people who have no business smoking weed.

jago - i loved the part about the painters and musicians, haha. you always say some funny shit every once in a while. but i agree on the motivation part. i look at it more as a uplifter. maybe something spur of the moment, like you want be a little buzzed when you do something. nothing wrong with that, as long as youre not hurting anyone.

maybe celebrating something. like a hard days work, coming home and wanting to chill out for a few hours. you know that is completly innocent people who go out and support this country and do their part everyday, and then they get pulled over and arrested for smoking a joint on the way home from work. its fucking wrong, like i said, these are innocent people.

but it is true about smoking in a car, same as alcohol. but on the other side of it. if you're a regular smoker. then the effects of weed shouldnt impair you to the point that you cant drive. its still wrong though, so is drinking and driving.

Some are probably too young to remember the movie "Romancing The Stone". There was a scene with Micheal Douglas and Kathleen Turner. They were in the Jugles of Columbia; and They stumbled onto a downed cargo plane filled with pot.

It was raining and it was the only dry material they had to build a fire. MD's character throws a kilo on a burning fire and plants his face in the smoke. He rises up slowly and utters in a slow exhale....."Yeah! That's what I call A campfire!"
