Their is a way to get around the guard stopping you at the bridge in the Netherrealm. This is the bridge that allows you to do the Kochal Challenge. check this out

dude, honestly??? coz when i played konquest first, i saw nitara and cyrax at the other end, but i couldn't get to him, coz the damn guard always knocked me the fuck out when i tried to cross over the bridge. and after i was allowed to cross the bridge, i never saw nitara and cyrax in that level again...
