from past discussions, I get the sense that the MK community liked Chess and Puzzle better. Now, since this was sort of a "throw everything in" game - it would've been cool if they kept puz and chess and added Motor.

Actually I don't mind motor kombat so much. But what pisses me off about it is how the people online act. They will start a Motor Kombat room and then kick me out when I log into it. Probably because I don't have a mic, or because it's a special group. If you wanted a certain group of people, why not make a separate room? and why is a mic so important. It's very petty and childish.

It was "ok." Chess and Puzzle Kombat were a lot better (just like Deception was an all around better game).

it was fun the first couple times it was fun but it getst2 the point where u cant lose. its a lil friend with a friend or online. but chess kombat was much better. overal i feel kart kombat was a waste of time that coudl have been spent on deciding better stories and gameplay. i vote no more crappy mini games and focus more on the main game

Motor Kombat is fun, I think they should have added more tracks, and possibly more racers. Yeah sense this is the UMK of all the 3D versions, they should have added some of the other mini games, but now chess wasn't even remotely close to actual chess, I didn't matter if you know how to play chess you just have to be good at fighting. Puzzle and Motor Kombat are not kombat oriented, and good relief from hours of fighting.

Motor Kombat is a pretty good idea, it's defferent from the rest of the mini games and it's fun for all, takes me back to the Mario Kart days lol I just wish they had some kind of battle mode for Motor Kombat, that would have been fun too...

i liked it sooo much better than versus. i know that MK is a fighting game, but in a room with 8 people, it gets really interesting. it lacks the competiveness of versus, but i think its more difficult. in versus, you are trying to defeat ONE other person. in motor, yo are trying to defeat up to & OTHER people. i love it (maybe because i was so good at it.) i wish i had never gotten rid of my game and platform

Motor Kombat wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. It seemed too simplistic.

If it returns for MK8, it should probably style itself like Twisted Metal.

Motor Kombat was MUCH better then MKD's extra modes, puzzle is boring and Chess is all rigged as all you have to do is own the two squares and you have an instand edge over your foe. And the invisible bombs are just about remembering where to put them....

Motor Kombat at least and especially online is fun and more exciting because you can have up to 8 players(on xbox anyway) race at once so it's like Mario Kart on crack...it's tons of fun.

Motor kombat lacked the ability to make you want to play it for a long time. Chess and puzzle you can play for a while and its still fun because its always diffrent. motor is basically the same thing over and over again. overall i think the should just scrap the minigames and work on the actual fighting game.

It's more enticing an experience than the clunky fighting.
Anyone got any tips on how I can improve on my constant second placings? There's got to be some sort of savant pro-tip that'll give me the keys to zooming past that damned invisible rubber band!

I can't really imagine it as it's own release, but I wish there were more characters, more tracks, and maybe a more conventional mechanic to the racing. It's a lot of fun!

EDIT: Okay, on easy I win easily. Back to medium again, and I always come second or third. Boourns!
