The game doesn't stink. It's fun to play and it's competetive, but from a technical stand point it's engine is terrible and fails miserably in comparison to Tekken,VF,SC,DOA,etc.

I've played Tekken before, never DOA though.
IMO, Tekeen isn't bad, but I wouldn't buy it. Really just a button masher for me, cause the moves are so damn complicated.
Plus, I could never really understand the story, MK's caught on to me though. :)

I'm just glad that none of you are claiming a remake of primal rage...

In all seriousness the only other fighting game I'd give two shits about would be another Killer Instinct. I love Killer Instinct almost as much as MK. xbox 360 and ps3 graphics...just think how beautiful that game could look if made right plus Online play. All I have time for is madden + MK but I could make time for K.I.

Anyway, GG's to nosbo last night man. LOL...it feels good to get my feet wet again with MK after not playing for like 2 months lol..Nice baraka the best online right now hands down.
Kabal is also one of the best, a lot more difficult now then before.
Also, a pretty good raiden as well man.They were fun games, nice combos after we played when we just messed around that 102% jade off of Tanya is sweet lol.

No, it's not. It's a matter of personal opinion when it comes to which fighter you prefer and enjoy more.
Example, MK is my favorite fighting game franchise, but I am full aware of it's weak foundation and VF,Tekken,SC,etc's superiority in that regard.
This is why I hope Ed Boon will step his game up for MK8 since it's the next generation and all. I doubt MK7 will be much better, though.

It still comes down to opinion.Some people prefer "parries" "reversals" etc where others will play without it(not saying me, I want them in there) just saying in general.
One thing that I admit is that Deception needs work, infinites are a bad thing.If it weren't for infinites I see no problem with it to be honest.Add parries for the 50/50's and I'm ready to go.
Wait until MK 8 and beyond for a full revamp with parries, wake up game, reversals, and everything else new to teh MK world.
But that's from a gameplay point of view, as an overall package I'll always go with MK for other reasons, reasons that other fighters lack and don't have.
I would like it for SF to come back though, MK and SF are my two favs.KI isn't bad either I suppose.

You are always playing nsobo or raidenwins all the time why don't you play people who you don't play on a regular basis you only play people within your klan which I find strange. Everytime you post on here its always ggs nsobo, ggs Sirchucksalot, ggs Raidenwins, ggs mesofly, ggs kilerB, and on top of that you always win the series you don't post scores when you lose but when you win you are quick to post scores and on top of that no offense to the people mentioned above you only seem to play people that you consistently beat in a series. What's good with Redsaleen and me we have been challenging you for the longest time and you just brush us off what's really good?

I used to be the man as well in that game but that was 6,7,8 (what is it) years ago. I've forgotten everything so I'll be easy target but damn I want that game back on console and online...it wouldn't take me long. Kabal, ermac and sub zero were my boys.
