Red, first off I know what I'm talking about, I know just like you what wake ups are, parries.That vid I just watched, as far as THAT vid is concerned I agree on some levels.I've seen the wake up moves which are insanely fast as everyone agrees on in the MK:A gameplay thread, so why is this a bad thing again?Better it's in there then not man.
And I forgot to mention something, low parries I actually DON'T want in this game because that kind of kills the point of pokes when you need them, but that's my view I can play with them in there or without, I really don't care about the "low parry" to be honest.Regular parries, throw escapes, wake up and combo blockers are good enough.
You have to expect improvements red, not perfection.No game is perfect, DOA is the exact opposite with parries, your timing has to be KEY on otherwise you'll eat a combo, same thing will happen with MK:A online with lag and mistimed parries this I expect despite the framerate differences in every fighter, when it's played online shit like this is bound to happen.

But I can already tell from basic gameplay vids that MK:A will indeed be better then MK:D, if you can't see this then you need to watch the gameplay vids and read malone's E3 post more carefully.

Do you use free throws? Let me know. I won't do it again but I will use darrius here and there. As far as free throws go I' m fine with them. Something I like doing, but I won't to you, is let someone in the course of a 3 round match do 4-5 free throws on me. Then I'll do additive free throws, meaning I'll add them all together into one long ass chain. Now thats funny dookie. Thats like Quintuple Unbreakable Duple. *snort* *snort*

How do i feel about free throws? To keep this from becoming a novel... I think they're the dumbest shit to ever grace this game. Yes they increase your chances of winning, so I do use them, but they make me feel dirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrty

This Vid was from a one-style tourney tryin to mimic Mk:A, but Check learned how to get free hellfires off of hellfires...O_O

Check has to be the best player I've ever played in this game. The shit he does is amazing to bad I only got to play him once. The top three players I've played come from the PS2 side Check, Versatile, and Thug (even though he acts like a dick sometimes).
