I dont think Smoke should come back. Sektor and Cyrax are much better charactres then Smoke IMO. I think another character (new or old) coudl take Smokes place.

That is my main wish in mortal kombat is if they brought smoke back, mainly human form. I mean, how cool would that be?

I think I could tolerate him in the storyline again, but not as a playable character. Maybe as some kind of debilitated ally of the Lin Kuei. I dunno, but it seems to me like ressurrecting dead characters (*cough*NoobSaibot*cough*) is a bad idea.

id really like to see him return, i loved smoke in mk3, but to be honest i really dont see it happening. now, with cyrax and sektor, theres really piont to bring him back in his 'cyber' form (which in my opinion in his only good form).
if smoke returned as well as cyrax and sektor, why not just bring all the 'ninjas' back? might as well throw in ermac, rain, noob, original sub zero, ect.

if human smoke were to return, i think he'd have to replace scorpion, which to be honest i wouldnt mind, though i know for a fact that would NEVER happen 'cause boon loves scorpion too damn much, and so does everybody else.

if he was to be completly different looks, moves, exct. then yes. But if he was to replace Scorpion hell no Scorp shall never die even tho he's already dead.

Give him a great make-over and some stunning special moves (not copies and a pallette swap), I would love to see him again because i liked his story and caracter. If done propperly Smoke can be a great addition to the next MK, i'm just a sucker for ninja's!

yea..Smoke should come back...IF they bring him back in his human form have him wit different moves and an option to have him Unmasked...if he comes back as a Cyber....just give him different moves and unique fatalities....They need to "redo" Smoke to make him better....and when he moves you should just see a smoke cloud outline of his body and when he stands still, you see his entire body....

I like your idea, ReikoJr. It'd be cool if he did have his own unique move pool for a change. They might as well give him a better reason to have the smoke around him other than just to be different from Scorpion. Maybe give him the ability to manipulate it like Sub-Zero does with the cold? I could imagine him making smoke bombs.

i think all the fellaz that want smoke to return have good ideas for him, and we all pretty much agree that he needs to be "made over" here is a good suggestion- has anyone ever caught an episode of the new Ninja Turtles?? well its pretty kool but the new foot soldier is grey and black and they kinda resemble human smoke. i think boon should mimic that concept alil kuz its a ninja outfit, but not the traditional MK ninja outfit that the ninja haters dont want pallette swapped. its like a solid black stocking-type mask with no openings and tied high up in the back with long, flowing ties. kinda like the back of astoroth's head in the new soul calibur. just a thought tho. smoke is the man!

oh i do agree that smoke is the man. They definetly need to make him over and bring him back. He defintely shouldnt be left out in mk6

I agree with you about smoke. I am a scorpion fan and i never had any beef against smoke. Just get rid of the spear and give him new abiliys.

I believe that Smoke was destroyed during the events of the MK3, the rumors that I have listened say that she underwent a failure of visibility, and she ran into with Rain, to which she confused with Sub-Zero, and she attacked it. In the end Rain managed to end Smoke with its ray, but when doing it, it caused the destruction of Smoke and Rain died in the explosion.

Be certain or not these rumors, I believe that there are not many possibilities of seeing Smoke between us again.

Smoke has to make a return. Though in his Human form with a twist. Have it so he looks similar to his old MKII look but have if so the smoke around him is almost symbiotic. What I mean by this is have it crawl around him. Change shape when he moves, jumps ect ect. Keep the spear but! Make it out of the smoke and then when it comes closer the the victim have it matirialize in to a formed spear that looks unique for Smoke not just a plattle swap. Also make the Smoke fallowing him valumetric...not the "smoke rings" from MKII and MK3. I mean did you ever see the concept art for Smoke? How the smoke imersed his body and so on. I like that idea. If you have ever played Killer Instinct (if you havent you have lived a very very seltered life since it's the best thing next to MK) think Glasius's Ice could mixed with Cinder's flames. Though make it more smokey. See what I mean? Also one thing I MUST STRESS make the bodies SLENDER like in MK4...MK:DA has really Braud and un naturaly wide people....I mean SOnya looks like a Line Backer...

Smoke could not return as a Human. He just reminds to Sub Zero, but this does not mean, he has his soul back as Cyrax. The Reminds about Sub Zero are the last memories of his soul... Not more, not less

You believe Smoke is female? And where did you hear that Smoke fought Rain and both died?? This is new to me!

I have never heard any of those things and I pay close attention to the MK storyline. Anyway, I think if Smoke returns he should be Cyber Smoke at first but with no robotic special moves then, make Human Smoke his alternate costume that you have to unlock. Or better yet make Cyber Smoke his primary outfit with robotic moves and Human Smoke his alternate outfit with smoke related special moves. Make the smoke that surrounds him look like the vapor that emits from Sub-Zero's arms in MKDA but make it emanate all around his body but don't make it so thick that you can't appreciate how cool he looks behind the smoke.

Well playable or secret doesn't matter to me but IMO, he can still be a robot but in human form. Who said he has to look or have the same fighting styles as Cyrax and Sektor?
