I'm assuming that you didn't play much of Deadly Alliance if you're having trouble with the combos in this game. However, the controls in this title do have a "looser" feel to them. You have to be very precise with your timing to get the combos to work. The only advice I can give is that combos must be performed by having equally spaced, very, very, very, quick intervals between button presses...........You actually should be way ahead of the action onscreen with most combos.
