I guess for the X-box version I'd pick Master Chief. For the PS2 Version, I'd go for Raziel. And for the Gamecube, I'd add in Glacius of Fulgore.

God will the lame ideas ever end?

There's nothing "lame" about this idea. Games like Super Smash Bros., the Capcom Vs. games, Tony Hawk, Soul Caliber, and Midway games with MK fighthers (Grid and Blitz) have shown how much fun/interesting having characters from other games can be. Besides it would be a hidden character thrown in for a bonus, like Mokap. Although unlike Mokap the guest character better have his/her own moves, weapon, fatalities, storyline, ending, etc.

What about, Nemesis from Resident Evil for the gamecube, Ryu Hayabusa for the Xbox and Samanosuke from Onimusha for the Ps2.

Nemesis would be cool with all his tentacles.
