*sigh* what in the world made them pick the current selent screen over this one for MKDA? sad the thing, however, is that this select screen looks identical in design to that of the current Deception select screen. maybe they are actually considering to use it this time...

what do you mean don't try to draw anything from the select screen? People have pretty much been just trying to identify characters which the saw in the silhouettes and based on the mkda select screen you showed, all of the silhouettes were actual characters who appeared in the game so how is this going to stop people from attempting to figure out who people are through the select screen?

I think what he's trying to say is that the E3 character select screen is set in stone and that it can change? I dont know thats my opinion.

yeah, maybe it was set this way for widescreen tvs, but canceled upon learning that it would have to be small for a standard sqaure tv

I cant figure out who the guy next to scorpion is, and the person beneath Sonya. Id say one of them is Johnny and one is Mavado, but to me neither look like them. Also Nitara is definitly missing off the select screen. So I'd say yeah, judging by this, its hard to say who will be on the final select screen. Who knows, maybe we'll get more characters than we thought we would.

How can anyone fall for that? It's pretty obvious that even if it was real, it wouldn't even of come from Deception. It looks like an alternate or prototype character select screen from MK:DA. Where's Baraka, Ermac, Nightwolf, Sindel, and the other new characters?

Ahem.. bud, pal... um he was using the prototype select screen from DA's pre launch as an example of why not to trust the early renderings of the Deception select screen. Don't lose your mind its ok, we still love you.

Even though they changed the MKDA select screen I don't think they will change the MKD screen.

The MKD is much further along and more touched up, the characters already have more realistic detail and the whole info on them is nice. Plus it looks to resemble the prototype screen of MKDA, so maybe they decided to use it finally in MKD with some changes and what not. I also think the prototype screen of MKDA is better then what they made the final version.

Oh and MKD is perfect imo. It's got a dark feel and background to it plus the characters look awesome. I hope they keep it.

The appearence of the select screen might change, still I don't think the caharacters that are on it will.

Another reason why they might have changed it is because on the MKDA select screen, there were only 20 slots and they were missing Nitara on that, so they had to change the select screen and make it even.
