Guys, lets just try to make the best of it

But arent we taking this things a little bit too seriously? For the love of god, I went on the Midway forums for the game, and there were a bunch of people saying things like, "Mortal Kombat just lost a fan".
We should think possitivly on this, for example, I would love to see what Batman could do. Also, think of the new levels from the DC universe , there could be some excellent ones with some excellent death traps. Plus, there could be some awesome guys from the DC universe, like Bizzaro, or The Joker, and Two-Face.
The point is, we should consontraite on the goods of this game, not the bad.So you guys should be more like me, excited, and ready for this shit. If you think about it, its better than nothing.

Yeah I'd be inclined to agree with you on this one aye mate.
I mean I can see why some people would be a bit (or a lot) disappointed in the DC decision, even I am. But the way some people have been going on about it in the forums...it's like they just announced everyone has to now pay 80% tax our of their wages, put petrol up $10 a litre or forfit their first child. It's a lil obsessive
Don't get me wrong, I've been a member on this site for yeaaarrrrs and am a BIG Mortal Kombat fan. So I ain't trying to diss anyone out their but yeah, just some peoples reactions have been quite extreme.
I will say this though...one thing that really did annoy me, which is probably, from what I can see to be the only flat out lie (or maybe misleading staement) is that he said only a couple of old characters would remain, and said that there would be mostly new characters which I was quite looking forward to. I know we are 'sort of' getting new characters, but I think that was a bit misleading for him to say that. Everything else tho, darker - yep, grittier - hard to tell but yep, new fighting mechanics - yep, something unexpected - ..a big fat controversial yep!@
At the end of the day it's going to be a new Mortal Kombat game, I'm excited about it and I'm sure it's gonna be awesome, even if it may not be what we were wanting/expecting or in some cases, needing.
