While I respect the idea of Guitar Hero that game is for people who don't play guitar. Out of all the good/great/what ever guitar players I know, not one plays Guitar hero...we rather play guitar :)

There's also a bunch of videos of real guitar playing on there as well, I just found it interesting that the MK song was on GH 2.

The GH game had that song on expert though, not for nothing but that game is tough on expert.
I wouldn't even consider the MK song a GH song though because for one, it's techno/trance the stuff I listen to with real beat to it

I'm sure guitar hero is wonderful on expert but i rather play "real" guitar.
being good at guitar hero is about as cool as being good at air guitar drunk in a bar with no friends wearing flannel

i could actually do this song if i had access to it. i think its only playable on the XBOX360 version. i heard that they make random songs as downloadable content for the 360 version of GH2. or someone just hacked into the GH system and made the song theirself. i dont really know.

Hmm no you don't unless you had a dream with me in it. I have never said Guitar hero is cool or I enjoy it.
It's a "good idea" but like I said before. Guitarists play guitar, people who can't play guitar play guitar hero.

While I totally see your point on the MK vs. really fighting someone and agree as far as those two are concerned, I think that's a bit different then the GH vs. real guitar in the sense that with MK, you're using a D-pad or joystick...when you're fighting someone you're using your fists, moving around and legs. It's not the real thing but pretty close to it in the sense of having quick fingers, getting your notes spot on. I tried playing a real guitar a few times, although it's NOT the exact same thing as GH it's still very similar from my experience with being on your fee with your fingers and you hold both the same way around your neck.
GH though I have to admit is a damn good as close as you can get with a video game form of it IMO. Rock Band looks like it's going to be more fun though IMO with two guitarists, singer and a drummer hehe. That should be fun. Gh is definitely fun though once you get into it I must say, Rock Band looks a lot better though. 4 people at once hehe now that's bitching.
