Keep them but improve them alot. Like with Kobra's make a fuckin hole in his chest for the fan's sake. They need to improve alot for MK7 on PS3 and X-Squared.

hara Kiris should be more frightfull not hillarious.
I mean, Dairou: ok, he cracks his spine, but the visuals must be made more impressive. Leave out the funny stuff especially on this subject.

Also what kinda Hara Kiri's should non Deception characters have?

Keep them they're great. Its nice to have more ways to see blood.

I like Hara-Kiri's. BTW, who are the dark rebels? Are they like a group of anti-Sonyas?

Possible hara kiris:
Reptile: swings his tounge around his neck and breaks it with a twist
Kitana: stabs her stomach with one of his fans, and opens it.
Bo' Rai Cho: punches his stomach seveal times, then he begins to vomit up blood and slowly dies of internal rupture.
Cyrax: pulls out his cables and electrocutes himself with them/self destruct
Frost: blast a large amount of icy clouds in the air above, what then fall back as icycles stabbing her.
Quan Chi: the neck strech, but only for 4-6 inches, and then let his hands off from his head. The dangling sjkull with it's weight breaks his spinalcord.
Shang Tsung: releases all of his souls and fades to a skeleton and falls into a puddle of ash.

Heres a list of Hara Kiris I came up with. Some are modifications of previous fatalities or special moves.
Blaze: Melts himself. Lots of steam. Lol.
Classic Sub Zero: Stabs himself with ice spike.
Cyrax: Pulls his cables out and malfunctions.
Drahmin: Smells himself....nah Iron club to the head!
Frost: Freezes her heart.
Fujin: Whirldwind explosion.
Goro: Tears his torso form his bottom half with all 4 arms.
Human Smoke: Suffication with smoke.
Hsu Hao: Tears implant out.
Jarek: Slits his own throat.
Jax: Leg rip.
Johnny Cage: Self energy punch...head explodes.
Kai: Breaks his arms and legs.
Kano: Rips out his eye implant and bleeds to death.
Khameleon: Mystery..turns invisible and u see lots of blood.
Kintaro: Rips both legs off.
Kitana: Someone said this before..drinks vile of poison and disintegrates.
Kung Lao: Boomerang Hat, comes back and cuts his head off.
Mavado: Kills himself with his weapon.
Moloch: Head pound with ball
Motaro: Fireball from tail ignites himself.
Nitara: Pulls a steak out and kills herself.
Quan Chi: Green mist...dissapears.
Rain: Self Fry with lightning.
Reiko: Somersault kick, but lands awkwardly and snaps his neck.
Reptile: Spits acid on his hands, rubs his face..dissolves.
Sareena: Crushes her own head.
Sektor: Self Seeking Missile.
Shang Tsung: Soul Release.
Shao Kahn: Makes himself float.....energy rushes to him..he explodes.
Sheeva: Rips two of her arms off.
Shinnok: Hand rises and pulls him down to hell
Sonya: Blows/Kiss fumes on herself...body distorts.
Stryker: Taser Electocution.

Hara Kiri's are soooo awesome, it was such a great idea for Midway to put them in the game...and they will remain in the game, unless some dumb kids go like "Wow!!! Does that work? Let me test it out!"
Hara Kiri Ideas:
Reptile: Shoots ball of acid in the air, letting it shower down on himself, melting away his flesh.
Scorpion: Jams Spear in head, then rips it out (like his MK:DA fatality, just to himself)
Kenshi: Uses his own telekinis so himself, and breaks his neck with his powers
Sub-Zero: Shoots icicle into the air and have it impale himself in the head.
That's it...those are my ideas...I might post more later though

Hara-Kiris r a "Keep"
just some ideas....
Scorpion: summons hellfire. the flames appear from where he is standing , gets burnt to a crisp.
Kano: like MKKitana said....... rips out his eye implant....... BUT!! instead of bleeding to death, he sets off the laser from it and starts to cut away his limbs....... and with the final cut..... he just cuts off his head.
and the final one can go for anyone: he/she rips out his/her small intestine, wraps it around the neck and strangles himself/herself to death.

Sonya- She put her head back and blow her Kiss powder into the air. The powder flies up and fall right back down on Sonya's face. Making her go blind. after that, she put her two hands on her throat and then throw up some guts out. immediatly (sp?), she lunge down to the ground (head first) and making her head crack and blood flowing all over the place.
OR
Like in MK1 or MK3. Sonya blow a fire kiss, it hovers around a little bit and flies back to her and burn her to death.
(i think its a little bit to long but oh well)
Kitana- Just like Nightwolf in MKD. but instead, she took out her Steel Fan, throws it up into the air and flies right back down onto her face.

Drahmin
Spits/throws flys out they gather in a huge swarm. The swarm flys around Drahmin then fly away. Drahmin’s flesh is gone. His skeleton then falls to the ground in a pile of bones.
Kung Lao
Throws his hat high into the air (like Nightwolf’s Hara Kiri). The hat then falls and slices through Kung Lao’s head and body cutting him in half vertically.
Quan Chi
Creates a coffin of skulls around himself. The skulls glow green and their jaws drop and blood spews from their mouths. The skulls disappear and Quan Chi’s skull sits on the ground in a puddle of blood.
Reptile
Coughs! Coughs again! Spews acid all over himself. He squirms as his body dissolves in the acid.His head drops into the acid below.
Mileena
Stabs herself in the throat with one of her sais. Blood rushes to her throat. Blood gushes from her mouth and throat as she chokes on her own blood. She reaches back up to pull the sai out and falls to the ground.
Noob Saibot
Four of his shadows come on screen and each grab a limb and rip it from his body.

I love the Hara-Kiris.......BUT...... they need to make them a little tougher to do or get rid of the fatality distance again. When you play online, the loser is able to do a Hara-Kiri before you get into the proper fatality distance....which kind of sucks because you won the match and it should be easier for the winner to perform the last move. The Hara-Kiri is a desperation move which should take a little longer to execute. When you play Darrius or Nightwolf online, their Hara-Kiris are done too easily; often once they recover from being on the ground. Maybe make all Hara-Kiris an eight button sequence instead of a three of four button; give the winners a chance to get into fatality position. Or......get rid of the fatality distance, that way both players have an equal opportunity to smash in their button sequence. It would be real nice if each player had two Hara-Kiris to choose from.......

I say let them go. Part of the gory of beating someone in MK is doing fatalies on them at the end. Hari Kari's to me sort of takes away from the gory that you get when you beat someone.

my ideas:
Sonya: Like libras idea. she blows the small ball but only she grabs it with her hand and swallows it, stomach explodes out with intestine everywhere body intact but huge hole in abdomen.
Kano- rips out entire face implant and pulls brain out, falls down.
Scorpion- bends forward, shoots spear upward through chest, it catches around something and when it comes back down it wraps around his neck and as he falls to the ground it hangs him.
Sindel- loud sonic scream and covers her mouth while screaming causing her head to explode.
Shang Tsung- love the post of him releasing souls and withers way.
Sub-Zero- Freezes one side of body and with working side he hops and lands on the frozen side shattering it completly leaving his body split vertically in half
Ermac- similar to shang tsung only all souls spew out at once exploding his body
mileena- similar to tanyas only modified. she lays her sai's on the ground point facing up and spreads her arms in crucifix pose and falls face first on them as they penetrate through her eyes out the back of her head as she lays belly down.

Shang Tsung: as I said, he releases all souls. Green bolts fly around him in circles as Shang Tsungs body is covered by a constant glow.Suddenly he throws himslef up and with a great blast all souls break free. The dehydrated body hovers for a half second and falls back to the ground.
Quan Chi: he graps his head with both hands and pulls up his head, streching his neck for good. The spinal chord is stressed and Quans face is cvovered by a gruesome display of agony. No longer capable of control-ling his body he releases his head, what actually breaks the spine and his anguish.
Reptile: he punches his claws into his chest, opening it real slowly. When the ribcage is broken in two places, he vomits acid into the gruesome wo-und and dies by dissolving his own intestines.
Frost: she freezes the airs water vapor around him creating a spinning shield or globe of icycles around her. She erleases controll and the circle tightens and the ice shards rip her body to the death.
Jax Briggs: pulls out his combat rifle, puts it's barrle at his throat and delivers a burst of AP bullets into his own cranium. Cobain effect.

anyway, hara-kiris should stay forever they rock imo, they're all cool, and I hope they return in future mks

I think Hara Kiri's are great add-ons to the "ality" family, Hara kiri's feeling is quite good and givves the game a more honorful way of dying. I would like them to bring back the animalities but in awsome animations and rendered animals, no the glowing things we had in MK3, overall Animalities are the best ality after the fatalities.
The only thing i dont want are nudalities or something like that.
