What is Hari kari move??

Ok say if u get beat by someone or the computer if you can type it in faster then they can type there fatality you will finish yourself off and save the embarisment of geting killed by someone else.... example theres a shot of hotaru in his alt. costume snapping his neck(his alt. costume looks sorta like cyrax)

Hari-Kari is Midway's made up word resembling Hara-Kiri which is a form of Japanese suicide.

Hara-Kiri is public and dishonorable. It means that you have given up and would prefer to take your own way out. Hara-kiri can be used to represent any suicide.

It's counter-part, Seppuku, is private, ritual, and honorable, while it's basically the same as hara-kiri in that it is suicide. Seppuku, is specific and refers to a ritual self-disembowlment which required specific etiquette, witnesses, and preparation.

Here is a good place to learn more about these rituals. And of course, if you would like to learn more than from just one resource, this link and this link, which are found on google can also be a great resource.

Ok back to Hari-Kari's. I think this was a great idea by the MK staff, I mean, think of the possibilites, there could be no time limit for fatalities, it was just a race to see who could punch in either they're fatalites or hari-kari's faster. I think fatalities need to be harder to pull off then hari kari's because it's more rewarding to see you kill you're opponent rather than you're opponent killing themselves.

yeah, i've heard about seppukku... my friends a japan culture-philiac... when a warrior is defeated, he is shamed and to salvage his honor, he commits seppuku... this occurs in the Last Samurai if you want to see an example or... of course a Hara-kari would be different, and MK's Hari-Karis are just gonna be wild, but cool... i can see a lot of people throwing bouts just to try and perform them, lol

A great way to profit from the people who use the Prima Guides, some kids fightin and they rip it all up so they have to go buy a new one.
