Harikiri Misspelling

I dont know if i am the only one noticing this... but if they used the word HARIKIRI for Suicide based on the japanese act of suicide correctly spelled Harakiri not HARIKIRI i found that as a huge mistake for such an advanced version of this game. I LOVE MK but it makes me mad that they dont pay attention to detail. I dont know if it was on purpose or not but i think someone should correct that or at least explain why they used harikiri instead of harakiri, i already sent a email to midway so they can clarify this... anyone got anymore ideas?

If you paid attention to the latest videos, the announcer says "Harakiri" when one commits suicide.
Oh yeah and for one its spelled Hara-Kiri.
Yeah, that needs to be fixed.

yeah man, I feel your pain, I can almost say that a third of my posts is correcting people on that subject, I'm always like, "it's HARA-KIRI, not Hari-Kari or Hari-Kiri", and they answer me
"I don't care, Midway turned the term Hari-kiri official"...oh well...let them stay in their ignorance...

Sounds like he still says Harikiri.
And have they actually changed the spelling to Harakiri? ...ok I'll accept Hara Kiri or Hara-Kiri but standard convention is no hyphen or seperating a word in two.

Next they have to decide to fix the fighting style error...Silate became Silat but Silat is not a style it a generic term like just saying a character has Kung-Fu as their style.
Is it Seni Silat Gayong or Silat Harimau maybe or one of the many other Silat styles?
Boon time to make a final tweak again...

The official website still says Hari Kari though. I really hope they get it right ingame.

Chou Jiao (Ashrah's style) is still misspelled as well. They still have the 'A' in front of the 'I' instead of the other way around.

This annoys me cuz it should be pronounced harry-carry based on common american pronunciation :()
Is the Dragon King American then? I thought it was his voice we hear saying Scorpion Wins,I Win,Fatality etc...

People pronounce it wrong here in the U.k. too.

They also pronounce Karaoke kah-ree-oh-kee.

the english language kinda butchers somethings when it comes to pronunciation, I lmfao when I heard steve beran saying ma-lee-na instead of mi-le-na or er-mácke instead of ér-mác, I wonder if you guys say ka-bal instead of ká-bál
