Umm noo i just keep it to myself my friends aren't interested in that stuff we are the so called "popular click". But ya I'm excited about it and no it hasn't changed my life but people are saying that they are just hooked on the forum staying on it 247 I can't do that I need to get outt no offencee juss find a way to get a life. I wouldn't say it has ruined my life, its just made me more excited about the release. Ever since I have seen the Intro I have been totally geeked for the game. This game is going to be big and its gonna spawn many many sequels.
BTW, don't talk MK with your girl ;)

MKD haven't ruined my life because I have school for that. Since summer is over for me, I never really think about MKD because I have other thing to worry about like where to park on campus and why do I have to give a damn speech in commuciation 110. The one thing I do on my spare time is go to this site when I have time during break from class and check what going on.

like theres certain ppl i can talk about it without being called a loser. one of my friends is a gamer AND EVEN he calls me obsessed.
my brother checks in on the history of the internet and says that he will block this website because:
everyday i come to home from school, and i come to this website and spend hours on end talking about MK.
i do get bored sometimes because it's all the same BS. but if you miss one day, you will miss everything...
this is going to be my last post FOR NOW!
because i have to do a important proyect this week

My parents are annoyed because Im “obsessed” with the game. According to them, I should use the hours I “waste” on the boards on more productive things .such as math and chemistry.

I'm probably one of the few girls who has been konsumed by this game. I mainly keep my excitement quiet at home and my workplace because I know people would get annoyed after a while (though the day I saw the intro video, I was talking to my ex-supervisor about it and I discovered that she was an MK fanatic like me but stopped playing after MK Trilogy). I'm lucky to have a boyfriend who is also an MK fanatic and is as excited as me for the release.
Yeah, I was cutting some wood and I was thinking about Deception and I almost cootergrawed my fingers off.

Well my girlfriend officially cant stand me now. I've made almost a complete replica of Sub Zero's costume. From his Shredder helmet to his armor to parka suit. I forged the helmet and armor out of various peices of scrap metal. As soon as I can get a pic of his weapon I'll be trying to make a replica of that one as well. I've already ordered the steel for it. The best steel there is, Damascus Steel. I'm hoping to have it done by halloween and when I can get another digital camera(mine broke last week :( )Ill post a pic on here.

Might as well join the crowd. The main problem is that I do not know how to kill time. The closer the release date, the slower time becomes. It is times like this I wish I was knocked into a coma and wake up the day before the release.

Nope, no game has ever come between me and my daily routine. There have been a few that have come close like the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater when it first came out and Halo.
MK never has and probably never will have that kind of hold over me, but I'll play it a lot, sure.

Hi, my name is Josh and I have been "Konsumed".
I spend most of my time here which keeps me sane since I don't have anything else to do. I can't talk to my friends about Deception cause when I do they either don't care or give me the "yeah, uh-hu, and um-hm" answers. None of my family cares (maybe my little bro, but just with the fatalitys) so I only have you guys to get me through these MK:D less days.

No, this game has not konsumed my life. I come here occasionally to check the news, and read some bullshit threads for maybe half an hour. Who the fuck talks about video games with their gf's by the way. Most of the game obsessed chicks I know are fat nerdy bitches and I'm proud to say my gf hates video games. And seriously, how can some people literally collect dust during the time of being on this site. Oh, and btw, everytime I see a post by kodypowell, i can't help but think what a tool he is. Peace.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. It hasn't ruined my life but my plan of making the wait easier back fired. I decided to make an arcade cabinet to hold all of my systems. I had no experience with wood working and bought power tools and the wood needed for the project. I finished it in about a week. So I decided to make a smaller one for my son. Finished that one in two days. I bought a 2 player x-arcade joystick and have been practicing with MKDA. It was tricky but finally got the hang of it and am almost as good with it as a regular game controller. All this was supposed to take about a month to kill my time of waiting for MKD. Well I'm done and still have weeks to wait. I bought Guilty Gear XX Reload, SF Anniversary, Tekken 4, and Virtual Fighter 4. I still go back to playing MKDA wishing it was MKD.
