I was searching for that movie with robots on your site but I couldn't find it. So I checked out your guides instead and I came across this: http://www.mkvids.net/combos/havik58.wmv

Red, you've classed that as a 58% damage even though there's a free throw in the middle of the combo. That's pretty much a partial infinity, isn't it?

Can I make a small comsmetic suggestion for the site? Nothing huge...

Is there any way that you could label which characters' guides are completed on the main page?

I mean, we can go to them one at a time when you make a thread like this... But I don't remember which ones have been done already. It's a pain in the ass for people from the boards, let alone newbs, to sit and click 60+ characters to see who is and isn't finished. Couldn't you put a small "check" in each character's box who is finished or something.

Just a suggestion. I think it would help, until ALL characters are done.

Sweetness. I think I was the only one from PS2 who knew 1 in weapon was a free grab, lol. Good thing they gave him Tang Soo Do instead of Snake. Although I kinda liked Snake cuz it had the strongest single hit move in the game. U+2 I think.

^^^If you mean 1 in Morning Star, then no. It hits high.sad Now b+1 in Tang Soo Do hits mid if that's what you mean. Another useful move is b+1 in weapon. It's a sweep where you can't do a wake-up off of. Although it's unsafe as fuck on block.

4 is the one where it makes you spin around right? Or was that b+4?

You guys seem to have missed the point I was trying to raise. If a combo is not chained, how can you class it as a full set when you've broken it with a free throw?

every combo is allowed 1 ft. havik allow u to get a ft from a juggle. so no this is not a partial.

"every combo is allowed 1 ft"

Jesus! Who makes these rules and why is it allowed? And if you allow "1", you may as well, allow 2,3,4,5...
And that Havik's throw is not even the end of a combo, it's the start of another one.
It's not the actual combo that I have a problem with. It's the fact that it's published as though it's a legitimate combo that I think makes it suck.

Normally, I'm with you Trax. Anything that legitimizes a 70-80% combo via a repetitive glitch is gay in my opinion. That's basically the whole match from 1 combo. Also, I don't care what "rules" anybody makes. If it makes sense to me, I'll do it.

In this case, hardly anybody does/can land these monster combos. For reasons from breakers being used, to ducking the free throw, to just not being able to perform it. That's why I don't make a big deal about it.

If it was like Deception where you could consistently eat 3/4 or your opponents life with one juggle, I'd make a bigger deal about it.

My argument is probably more on publishing ethics than anything else. I just think if you're going to say a combo is 58% then as a player I want to see that 58% xx hits on the screen rather than adding two combos and trying to do the math.

It's like the clips from Check on PS2 forum. When it states 90%, you know you'd see 90% on the screen all chained. You guys get what I'm obsessed about?

havik is one on the few characters who can get a ft from a hit that connect off a juggle.

so the 1 free throw per combo rule from mkd has crossed over to mka, since the wonderful staff at midway felt they were either cool, or they just couldnt get rid of them all.

so as long as u dont start the combo with a throw than using the 1 ft rule.

u can finish off and legit combo with his ft, than do another combo.

since u cant do his 33 off his throw, it forces you to use a 3, which eliminates one set off 33s.

u can do this with shinnok'''

441 112 33 33 csb1 cs112 33 33 fireball ft hand,,, finishing off the combo with a free throw than more damage.

like i said havik happens to have a throw that launches, and a ft that comes from a juggle plant. so by the rules set for every other charater he can do that combo and it becomes legit by the guidelins set for all the other charatcers.
