Hey,
I just got MK:SM last week as we in the Netherlands had a release date of september 30 which sucked (I got the game september 29 though :p )
But I need some help with it. I have just entered Reptile's Lair with Kung Lao (haven't played that part with Liu Kang yet) and I have to break all these stupid statues or something. There are 2 for now (I know there will be more later on) but I can't break both of 'em. Anybody got any advice on how to play this part? I was really enjoying this game untill this stuff (I hate that kind of puzzles). Thanx (Oh yeah, and don't tell me I suck. That is not the advice I need :p )

Nah, it's the puzzle when you first enter reptile's lair in the living forest. The first room in reptile's lair. There is a switch in the middle and there are doors. When you step on the switch statues come out of the doors (it starts with 2 statues and I read it goes on until 5 statues come out or something). You can break the statues with a normal punch or kick but the statues go back into the doors really fast. Too fast for me to destroy even 2 of them. So as I asked before... Does anyone have any tips to make this easy 'cause I'm really stuck right now and that really sucks.

Come on. Someone has to know since most of you finished the game...
Well....
i have a bit of troubles in that part (in single player mode)..
you have to use -multidirectional kombat- (the method that show liu kang in a cinema in the beginning of the game...the one which strat with Kung Lao saying: "Liu kang....behind you !.."
I think that would help.
i don ́t 100% sure of the usage of this method, but you punch in one direction and inmediatly push in other direction that you are not facing at the same time that you press the attack button(light attacks button).

First of all use quick attacks
Another thing that help me is to you memorize the order that the statues appear and after that look at those marks on the ground. The statues always come in straight line, so you just have to press in that direction and punch. Change fast for another direction and punch.
Hope this helps. After you finished these I recommend you return and save because you really dont want to do this again right?
