the white star tells you to end the buttons sequence for a pro move. Like example, Sonya's ringshot is d,f,square...But as soon as that white star appears, quickly put in d,f,square again to execute the pro move. Or if you press d,f,square early and you press square as soon as the white star appears, you'll execute a second ringshot...

Yeah those things are starting to tick me off too. I'm just waiting for people to post them up on youtube.com, So I can see what frame the next move is performed on some of these combos. I just got like one or two combos that aren't complete for each character. I kind of wished they had a preview of what the combo looked like.

But the star means the next button action is a pro-move, It is done at a specific time(each vary). Usually when the previous move hits the character. You probably want look them up. I think there is a forum that has them.

Not getting to no where man. Still fuckin have same problem. One guy on youtube he is doing all the chellenges like peace of water. This fuckin shit is driving me crasy.

what it does is a lil kombo connector which u can perform 1 attack and if done another button combination it connects them together.eg captain marvel has 2 moves which 1 he shoots a lightning bolt.there is another where he does a nightwolf thing( he lunges forwad at the opponent)if you go to his kombo challenge it has it there.an easy way of doing this is going D,B,X,F,Y.this will pull off the effect of a pro move :D
