Would it be a good idea to have a fatality combo in the next MK or a future one. this would be a hidden combo for each character that was unblockable and ended in a fatality. In order for the combo to work you have to achieve certain conditions eg win all rounds with no damage taken and with out blocking for example, what do the rest of ya think, i think it would a good idea.

I don't have a clue as to what you're saying. Are talking about giving the secret characters fatalities? If that's they case, why didn' you just say so?

No i'm not, i thought i explained it well enough, oh well, what i am trying to get at is having a hidden combo for every character, one that is unblockable and ends with a fatality that you cant use else where, sort of a reward for doing well in the rounds you fight in, or maybe have it so if you are getting ya ass kicked you could use it to help win the match, you would have to meet certain conditions for it to work ie no damage for a couple of rounds or no blocking etc,i dunno there might be better ways of doing it, anyway you could only use it once through out the tournement and it cant be use on boss characters.

I hope this has expalined it better ( probably not)

Just so everyone knows - my game, Twisted Fate, already has this feature. As well as many other features not found in other fighting games. So if MK6 has it, just know that TF had it first ;)

Ok, I get what you're saying, Terranova.

And what in the world is 'Twisted-Fate?'

a combo that finished in a fatality....sounds like and Ultimate Combo from the Killer Instinct Series....but it would be intersting to see the similar tactic in a future MK

What is twisted fate. I know its of the subject but it sounds pretty cool. BTW it would be cool to have a hidden combo fatality or just a brutality. :)

Reiko, the web address was posted above:

twisted-fate.com

It is my original fighting game I am developing with a friend. The demo, screenshots, and a video are available at the site.

Hmm, well this is an interesting idea. But I you are saying this should just the characters' regular fatality, and i agree. Brutalities were lame, and I don't mean just the 3 skulls and 5 rib cages either. The idea of a brutality doesn't fit MK at all too me. And like you said, make it hard to get, it would be far too unfair to be able to obtain this combo any other way. Perhaps winning so many rounds in a special way, and then finishing each match with a fatality would be the best way for this to be unlocked.

I guess our 'Fatal Combos' are slightly different. It starts off kinda like an Ultra combo from KI. The player can chain into a fatal combo near the end of the match to reach 100+ hits. The final hit knocks them up into the air and they are struck as they fall, blowing them into pieces of organs and blood. Our characters also have 5-10 regular finishers.
