In MKD, fatalities of every kind need to have gore that is distinguished, realistic, highly-detailed, and dynamic!

No, no, no, not Al Gore!

When someone's brains are ripped out, those brains had better look like brains and need to be pulsing, wiggly, jiggly, pumping, gooey, sloppy, drippng danglers. Not a clump of polygons!

When a victim is disemboweled and stripped of their intestines, those intestines had better look like intestines, and be oozing, dripping, pulsing, wiggling, and squirting all over the place!

These are just a few examples!

Perhaps you have some good ideas and examples. I wonder what you MK fans think about more, highly-detailed, high-quality MK gore; ALL THE MOVING PARTS!

I agree , although I don't ask for so much. I didn't like how MK:DA had a bunch of little red balls popping out of bodies. We didn't even get distinguished organs , scince they all looked pretty much the same (remember Mavado and Kano's Fatalities ? I bet EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU was guessing what was being removed in them.) This made them look really silly , so when you finished someone off with a Fatality , it was sort of a joke and a waste of time. It just wasn't worth it !

I'd like to see more realistic Fatalities in MK:D. For example , if you were cut in half horizontally , it would be nice to have intestines spill out , as well as the pool of blood we saw so much in MK:DA. I'm not asking for them to be oozing whatever the intestines have inside them (if you know what I mean) , or for them to be "wiggling and squirting" , only that they look like intestines.

Wouldn't it be nice to have people take a look at the Fatalities in MK:D and hear them go "Wow, that was really nasty" instead of "That couldn't be lamer" ?

EvilGranny hit it on the head.

While I wouldn't go so far as to say I want squirming intestines and wriggling brains, the stupid popcorn kernels and red balls in the MKDA fatalities were just so lame. There definitely needs to be distinguished parts and better gore...and I hope that the meat grinder stage fatality they showed us is still under development, because it looks like the popcorn kernels and red balls again...

Agreed. I want this to be the first MK which has exagerated but realistic gore!

Yeah, spillage would indeed be great.

MGS2 has some great blood effects. The 'balls' of blood were somewhat slow and cloddy-looking.

And what's up with blood running down someone's body when their on the ground? I mean, the blood would run from their head to their feet when they're laying horizontal to the ground!

It would be incredibly insane if there was a certain fatality, in which the victor makes a rather violent incision from the top of the victim's chest to the depth of their bowels, and all of their innards just spill out on the ground!

Think of all of the high-quality, detailed, moving parts that could be included in this fatality.

I call it the "Bowel Spill."

Anyone see Star Wars? In the Star Wars that Luke goes scouting on Planet Hoth, and he gets caught by one of the Hoth residents, and Han Solo goes to find him. Han finds him, and, since it's cold on Hoth, Luke needs to be warmed up. Han takes the animal that he rode on to find Luke, and cuts it open. All of the animal's guts spill out.

If MKD could draw from this idea, however make things much more so, than MK would have a pretty nice gore system set up.

If anyone remembers that Star Wars scene, you'll get a great idea of what I mean.

The guts just spill out, as if they're ready to fall outside of the victim's body. Great stuff.
