Anyone else notice watching some of the new videos that when a character hits another character with a weapon the area on their body actually lights up. The New game informer Scorpion Vs. Kabal Shows this.

If there was anything at all to kill the mood of the game its these damn "lights". It looks like something outta batman, I expect the word "oofff" to come up everytime scorpion hits kabal. Its so distracting!

Everything else in the game I can deal with, but this is just so sad looking.

Those are counter hits Sherlock. They are there for a reason. You should do your homework before you make a thread, especially since you put 'gay' in the title.

Who cares what they are ? Its still fucking distracting to be watching and then all of a sudden there is a huge red light when a hit connects.

btw, I am not talking about the fight state indicators on the lifebars.

What does it matter? They're probably there indicating counter hits or something similar to that, though I haven't seen them so I can't say. If that's what they are there for then it doesn't bother me at all.

Trust me, when you see them like 6 times a fight youll notice and care.

Can someone post an image of these, because I don't have anywhere to upload images.

Relax, you can turn the hit lights off at the options menu.

No thats the fight state indicators on the top of the lifebar, not the hit lighting effects.

Fuck you, Im 22 yrs old.

Anyways I'm allowed to write whatever I like as long as its within the guidelines.

you don;t like it

DON'T READ IT MORON!!!

How many times do we have to go through this? People don't like others complaining, and yet they hate it so much they continually bumb the thread and add nothing constructive to it.

Dan are you talking about the lights on the life bar ?

Because I looked, and there were fresh, non-countering hits that were making those red lights, so I think its just a lighting "ouch" effect, that will get really annoying after a while.

The videos Konqrr posted have tons of examples of them.

I see what you're talking about. It doesn't come up EVERY time. The lights don't bother me, and just because they bother one little helpless soul doesn't mean Ed Boon is gonna run his ass to the computer and read this post. Grow up, this game is going to be great and you're worried about one little thing.

Leave the forums, never to return....
The lights are disappointing, I just hope they are an option. Im not a child either, and I want to learn how to read moves coming myself, not MK giving me the go ahead to press a button.

Same for breakable walls and cliffs, they dont need a freakin' beam of indication that they are.

Again, I hope these are options!

How do you know they can be turned off ? I know the fight indicator lights on the lifebar can be turned off.

Im pretty sure Ive seen a big red light on the body, when there ligths at the top were not on.

So mabye I overreacted ?

You can;t say youve never done while under the influence.

Prove it.

Not to sound like that, but this is all just speculation.

There are many times those red lights come up when there is a fresh not countered hit made.

So, green, purple, and blue projectiles and force field effects don't bother or disctract you, but red, small pop like flashes do?

Riiiiiiiiiiight.

I don't need to prove it. I, like others on this thread, already know it. I don't have time to go through oodles of vids and reviews to find the quote but it is there.

Do u think we are conspiring against you lol.
